🌊 Today was all about making memories — and we were proud to help make it happen 💚
With careful planning, teamwork, and the incredible support of the Home Instead Medway team, we helped one of their lovely clients enjoy a long-overdue day out to the coast with his wife. He hadn’t been out in over a year, and the joy on their faces made every moment worth it.
Here’s to more days like this — full of connection, care, and unforgettable moments.

At Medimove Ambulance Service, we’re growing our amazing team and looking for caring, reliable people to join us as Patient Transport Service (PTS) Ambulance Crew.

💙 What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be out on the road, supporting patients who need help getting to and from hospitals, clinics, and care facilities. It’s not just about transport — it’s about compassion, dignity, and making someone’s day a little brighter, offering a friendly face, and delivering care with kindness and respect.

🧭 Your Role Includes:
- Safely transporting patients to appointments
- Offering reassurance and a friendly face
- Assisting those with limited mobility
- Keeping your vehicle clean and ready
- Working closely with your team and healthcare professionals

🎯 What We’re Looking For:
- Full UK driving licence (C1 preferred)
- Caring, can-do attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility for shift work (including weekends)
- PTS or ambulance experience is great — but not essential
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check (we’ll help)

Medimove Ambulance Service Update

It’s hard to believe we’re already 11 months in — and what a journey it’s been! We wanted to take a moment to share some of the exciting progress and achievements we’ve made at Medimove Ambulance Service so far.

🚑 Team Milestones
A huge congratulations to our amazing team members — Andy, Bradley, Lisa, and Hayley — who have recently completed their 2,000th patient move! This is an incredible achievement and reflects their dedication, flexibility, and willingness to go above and beyond. We’re incredibly proud of you all.
Additionally, the team has now achieved their FREC 3 qualifications, enhancing our clinical capabilities and commitment to high standards of patient care.

✅ CQC Registration
We are delighted to announce that we are now CQC registered. This enables us to work more closely with the NHS and confirms that our policies and procedures meet the highest regulatory standards. A huge milestone and a proud moment for our whole team.

🌍 European Repatriations
We’ve successfully completed several European repatriations, with fantastic feedback from patients and their families. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see the impact of our work and the reassurance we’ve been able to provide in challenging times.

⚖️ Bariatric Patient Moves
So far, we’ve completed over 85 Bariatric patient transfers, using our specially configured, multi-purpose ambulances. These vehicles are key to providing safe and dignified care for all patients, regardless of their needs.

🏥 Partnerships with NHS Hospitals
We’re proud to have begun collaborating with several NHS hospitals, strengthening our ties within the healthcare system and expanding the reach of our services.

🚐 Fleet Upgrades
We’re also in the process of renewing our ambulance fleet, with fantastic support from our friends at BVS. A special thank you to Jack and Liam for helping us take this next step in ensuring our vehicles remain state-of-the-art and patient-ready.

Medimove Ambulance Service take pride in providing a service with an experienced, dedicated and friendly team.
We know how daunting ambulance journeys can be, which is why we allow relatives or chosen companions to travel with the patient*.

We can provide the following services:

Private hire – let us take you to your chosen destination, where we will wait until you are ready to leave. If you would like to re-unite with family or friends for a special
occasion, please contact us to find out how we can help.

Private hospital appointments – collection and drop home, waiting on-site if required. We are happy to accompany you to your appointment and keep you company whilst you wait to be seen.

Patient Transport – if there is a requirement to move hospitals or residential home, we can help.

Repatriation – should there be a need to bring a loved one home, we can either collect them directly or will meet them upon arrival following a flight.

Events - are you organising an event requiring first aid/first response cover? We can help! Contact us for a quote.

We offer bespoke options so please give us a call with your requirements and let us take the worry away.

Hi all, So the public have chosen, after tallying up it looks like we have the names for the new ambulances, Thelma & Louise wins hands down and will be the names of the next 2 ambulance we get from Specialist Vehicle Solutions ltd, which is going to be just after Christmas we hope, we will post some pictures when we receive her.
Thank you for all of your input, likes & follows, hopefully when we get some more ambulances we can do it all again with your help.

We had a really nice visit to the Wisdom Hospice Charity Christmas Cake & Coffee morning and met some lovely people.
The cakes were awesome, lemon cake for me thanks 🍰 and of course we had to get a couple of little friends for Ernie the Ambulance.
