I really love what I do here and who knows what the future holds for The Zen Lotus.

A lovely day to meet new faces and welcome back familiar ones - a chance to do my bit, even in the smallest of ways and offer healing in a therapeutic and holistic way.

🍎 NUTRITION PROGRAMME 🍎

As I take a moment to rest, it’s also a time for reflection.
Many of you know that at the end of last year I completed my training in Nutrition and Weight Management. For me, it’s never just about food, it’s about behaviour, your relationship with food, and feeling empowered to make lasting changes.💓🙏💫

Alongside this, I’ve trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and The Decider Skills. These approaches can help you:

• Understand and manage thoughts and emotions
• Build healthier habits and coping strategies
• Improve decision-making and self-control
• Reduce stress, anxiety, and emotional eating

I also incorporate mindfulness and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), helping you become more present, manage triggers, and feel more in control of your wellbeing.

My goal is for every client to feel equipped, confident, and empowered to move forward towards a healthier, happier life 💛

💫✨️Taking a few weeks off just now ✨️💫

As we move into Easter, I just wanted to wish everyone a lovely time, whether you celebrate in a religious way, spend it with family and friends, or simply take a well deserved rest 💛

February and March have been the busiest months yet here, and it’s already looking like things will only get busier. So I’m taking this time to properly rest and recharge. 🙏😎

If I don’t reply to messages straight away, it’s just because I’m stepping back from admin and giving myself some space.

Rest is so important, especially when you’re doing energy work. You can’t pour from an empty cup ✨

That app is a saviour, it brought me back to myself in moments I didn’t think I’d find my way through. 🙏🧘‍♀️💫
That’s why I share mine, because you never know who might need that same quiet support. 💖

A podcast, a place to speak freely. 🎚🎙
To hold space for real conversations, for women who have a voice, and for those still finding theirs.

All these extras, a hobby, but it’s rooted in something deeper - love, growth, and connection.
A community doesn’t just appear, it builds gently when you show up as you truly are. 🤩🌏♥️
And that’s what this is about for me, turning up as my whole myself.

I am creating, evolving, and pouring into the things that call to me, alongside my ASN work with the council and this, my business, The Zen Lotus. 🪷💖
I am shaping a life that reflects everything I am and everything I’m still becoming.

🌸 The Full Collection 🌸

I have newly designed the Full Collection Treatment list, a wee freshen up just in time for spring. 🌼🌸

Since it's launch in September, everyone is loving the new treatments, I am so pleased. 💜
I feel exactly where I need to be, but I never stop dreaming.
Have I stopped training? That’s a question… there are maybe 4 more courses that I want to do, then that’s it! 😂

✨️ REIKI TRAINING ✨

Five years ago, I never imagined I’d be a Reiki Master, and now here I am, soon to be hosting my very first Reiki Level 1 training with the most incredible women 💫

So, what is Reiki Level 1?
It’s the beginning of your journey with energy healing, learning how to connect with universal energy, support your own wellbeing, and gently offer healing to others. It’s powerful, grounding, and deeply personal.
I don’t actively advertise these trainings, they tend to unfold naturally, with people finding their way to me when they feel truly called 🤍

I may consider running another Reiki Level 1 later this year.

✨️❤️ International Women’s Day ✨️❤️

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength and resilience of women everywhere.

But being heard matters too, especially when it comes to maternity and gynaecological care.
In the Highlands, many women travel long distances for support and sometimes feel their experiences aren’t fully listened to. 🙏💕

Through my work at The Zen Lotus, offering holistic therapies, I have the privilege of hearing many women’s stories around pregnancy, hormones, pain and recovery. Again and again, the same message comes through: women want to feel heard, respected and supported in their own bodies.🪷

We deserve systems where women’s knowledge of their own bodies are taken seriously.
We deserve healthcare shaped with women, not simply for them.💓

This International Women’s Day, let’s keep speaking, keep challenging, and keep demanding better, for every woman, everywhere!👏
