This piece of writing was my way of saying goodbye to a passion project that once felt like my own body and breath.

To love work that deeply, to pour yourself into it and show real, raw emotion is not dramatic.
But pain has a strange alchemy.
From it, The Zen Lotus grew and blossomed.

What started as grief has softened into something wider, and more spacious.
The Zen Lotus continues to expand with love, understanding, and compassion for myself and for the process.

And to anyone who feels like they can’t express themselves, or don’t know how to listen to their body: it is talking.
Always.
Even in exhaustion,
even in shutdown,
even in fear.
There is wisdom there, and it deserves care and not judgement.

I understand now why growth sometimes asks us to release what we once held closest.

Stop questioning your sensitivity, your emotions are not dramatic! 💕
