The dynamic duo, AKA Mike and Ron, treated us to an afternoon of songs from the 1940’s to commemorate Armastice Day. 🎶🎵🎤🎷🎸

Our residents grasped the theme with both hands, singing and dancing the afternoon away in true Eve Belle style 🕺💃🏻🪩

Music and daily socialising plays an enormous part in the lives of our residents and it certainly showed through today with laughter, smiles, friendship and love. 💙 We couldn’t ask for more. 💙

🇬🇧✨ We had the honour of welcoming Corporal Connor Songhurst to Eve Belle just in time to celebrate Remembrance Day. He spoke to our residents about the importance of remembering and honouring those who served. ❤️🎖️

Some of our residents also enjoyed watching the parade at the town centre on Sunday, proudly showing their support. 🌹🇬🇧

31/10/2025, we celebrated Halloween in style — as usual! 🕸️💃🕺
Our residents had a spook-tacular time dressing up, dancing, and enjoying all the fun and laughter the night had to offer. 🧙‍♀️🦇🧛‍♂️

Smiles, music, and a few spooky moves — that’s what Halloween is all about! 🧡🖤✨

🎄✨ What a busy Monday — just the way we like it! 😄

Some of our residents enjoyed a lovely trip to Summerhill Garden Centre to see the beautiful Christmas displays this year 🎅🎁. After that, they had a delicious lunch and, of course, couldn’t resist a McDonald’s treat 🍔🍦 — the ice cream didn’t last long! 😋

Meanwhile, back at the home, our other residents had a wonderful time with the children from North Crescent School (Year 5) 👧👦. The children shared stories about their half-term adventures and read to our residents — such heartwarming moments 💕📖.

To top it off, the duo from Time came to entertain everyone 🎶💃🕺. Residents, children, and staff all joined in — singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments together! 🥁🎤

That’s our Monday — full of joy, laughter, and community spirit 💖🙌

26/10/2025 - On our Super Sunday, residents, staff and family volunteers came together to complete our final fundraising venture this year, for St Luke’s Hospice. 💛💙

Charity and Community play a big part in the life of Eve Belle and so we jumped at the chance to hold the now infamous Eve Belle Raffle. 🎟️ 🎫 and it did not disappoint. 👌🏻

Our beloved residents, staff and family members dug deep as they purchased their tickets and loved every moment of the surprise reveal of what they had won.

It would not be Eve Belle tradition without refreshments and delicious home made goodies straight from our kitchen which was enjoyed and very much appreciated by all. 😋 🍰 🧁

What a way to finish an afternoon filled with laughter, friendship and a generous heart. ❤️

🎀 We are so proud to be part of our wonderful local community! 💖

A huge thank you to Tara, the owner of Secrets Hairdressing in Wickford Secrets Hairdressing Wickford, who kindly spent time with our residents this weekend — sharing delicious cupcakes 🧁 and raising awareness for breast cancer research. 🎗️

It’s heartwarming to see how our community comes together to support such meaningful causes, showing love and care to those who are living with or have been affected by breast cancer, as well as their families and loved ones. 💞

🚐✨ Our residents came up with a wonderful idea — to have a relaxing drive around and see their beautiful community and nearby places from the comfort of our minibus! 💛

We made it extra special by arranging two trips in one day — an all-gentlemen adventure in the morning and a lovely ladies’ outing in the afternoon! 👨‍🦳👩‍🦳

With tasty snacks 🥪☕ and plenty of laughter, everyone enjoyed the fresh air, calm surroundings, and the joy of sightseeing together. 🌳😊

Once back in the home, they shared stories of their lovely day out, still smiling from the experience! 🏡💖

We celebrated Diwali — a beautiful tribute to our amazing staff and residents. 💖 This festival of lights reminds us of the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and hope over despair. 🌟

Our celebration was filled with colour, laughter, and togetherness, as we shared stories about what Diwali means — a time for joy, reflection, and new beginnings. 🙏🎆

A big thank you to Sheeba for making the delicious sweet treats that made our celebration even more special! 🍬💫
