Product recall…..

We have been alerted by Sainsbury’s that it is recalling JS Free From Breaded Mini Fillets because it contains milk which is not correctly declared on the ingredient label.

The product is therefore unsuitable for and should be avoided by anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk.

🆕 The UK’s first needle-free adrenaline nasal spray, EURneffy®, is now available on prescription for people with serious allergies.

✅ Who it’s for: Adults and children weighing 30 kg or more.
✅ EURneffy® is a prescription-only medicine. Anyone interested in this needle-free option should speak to their GP.
✅ EURneffy is an additional, licensed option for emergency treatment of anaphylaxis. Some people may choose to switch from an AAI to EURneffy after discussing it with their GP or allergy specialist; others may prefer to keep using AAIs. It is not a requirement to carry both — follow the advice of your clinician about what’s right for you and always carry two doses of adrenaline.

Another successful event…..

** CPR/DEFIB TRAINING SESSION - FITZWIMARC SCHOOL **
** MONDAY 3 NOVEMBER 2026 **

Yesterday evening, we held our 22nd CPR/defib training session for local residents

These sessions are presented by Pronto Training and held in conjunction with the local rotary clubs of Rotary Leigh on Sea, Essex and Thorpe Bay Rotary Club

It was another hugely successful evening, with everyone attending fully engaging with the training

As always, a huge 'Thank You' has to go to Joanne Joseph, Managing Director at Pronto for the session she provided. We always receive such positive feedback about her 😊

We already have 2 more dates in the diary for 2026 (at Saxon Hall) and am excited to announce Jo and I were discussing last night a further 4 dates/venues which will be announced shortly.

All these sessions are completely FREE and we would encourage everyone to attend one of these evenings. We are aware of 3-4 people who got called upon to either perform CPR or use a defibrillator not long after attending one of our sessions so we know all too well how vital these skills are
