So it’s been a while! Where does time fly to?
We have been so busy caring for our wonderful service users, and what with the hot weather and roadworks of Wickford keeping us busy, we feel it’s time to celebrate our amazing team 💫

we regularly have team meetings to share lunch together, and share ideas and feedback to be sure we are providing the best care possible.
Last week we had a meeting and it was also our crazy Kate’s birthday so we had Birthday cupcakes too! 💫🎂
We love to celebrate our amazing team, and their hard work and achievements 💫 and welcome new members of staff to our team 🥰

Massive well done to our Freya 🥰🥰Freya Thomas she completed the London Marathon and raised such an amazing amount for such a wondeful cause so dear to our hearts 💙💜we also found out that lovely Jodie was running in memory of her nan, and we were also so blessed to be part of her life 💫well done Jodie she will be so proud of you ❤️❤️what an amazing achievement 👏💗💙💜

Eeeeek today’s the day!! We’re all sending our amazing Freya all the best for her run today! She will be joining her friend Laura and so many other thousands of amazing runners in the London Marathon today 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️💙💜Freya Thomas is running for Alzheimers Society so close to her heart personally and for everyone she has looked after at Personal Choice and their families and Laura for RNIB xx Everyone out running today will be doing this for different reasons personally and for good causes 🩷💜💚💛🧡💙❤️good luck to all the amazing thousands running today and our Freya we are so so proud of you 🥰🤩 well done for all your training and fundraising so far and good luck today we know you will smash this and we are all cheering you on good luck you got this 🏅💙💙❤️👏👏👏👏🤩

Vacancies available for Weekends and Evening Care Assistants 💫💫

If you would love to be part of a work family who work together to provide the best possible care to all of our amazing Service Users please contact us!! Xx

We work hard, and giving the best care to everyone is what we pride ourselves on, but we also manage to have fun along the way! x

We provide full training for every part of your role, so previous experience is not necessary, however full UK driving licence is required xx
We pay a competetive rate starting from national minimum wage including travel time and mileage expenses, holiday pay, telephone and uniform cleaning allowances.
Full uniform is provided and ongoing training with the opportunity to complete Health and Social care qualifications 💫

🎄🎄❤️From all at Personal Choice Carers at home we hope that everyone has had the merriest of Christmases, thinking of everyone at this time of year, as we all are also missing our loved ones far and wide and the brightest stars shining down on us always 💫

Wonderful memories of our crazy panto at our Christmas party! Everyone did so well! and thank you to everyone who joined in! was such good fun the story began with Aladdin with the help of the brilliant genie! looking for widow twankee who was wandering and needed help and we bumped into Dorothy and co along the way and the tin man needed help with his stiff knees so we were all in search of the Christmas angels of Wickford! 💫and we tried to include so many of our lovely service users sayings along the way from magic words! to words of advice from our loved ones with the help of a very special bear! ‘You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think! ‘ also it’s never goodbye, the forest is always there and anyone who is friendly with bears can always find it ❤️ and always treat every day as a gift 💫 we had such a lovely ti with all of our family and friends and all of our angels who have gained their wings forever in our hearts and around us always as we share special moments together ❤️💫

Sooooo it’s been such a festive week for us! It was party time and we really do now how to party!! So much fun was had by all! ThaBarnhall Community Association & Social Clubal Clubhall Community Association & Social Club for the most amazing venue to host our wonderful festive afternoon! We were lucky enough to have the best singer in town thank you Sessions for getting us all into the Christmas spirit and rocking us all around the Christmas tree! and the most talented Jackson magician for mystifying us all! now you’d think that would be enough partying for the afternoon! But no, we also had time for a Pantomime well done to all the superstars of Personal Choice for Carers and massive shoutout frost for helping me with all your enthusiasm and craziness to write the best panto ever, and all our amazing girls for joining in! we are just waiting for the call from the Palladium!! more to come from the panto, we also had a special visitor for the afternoon in Kevin the carrot making his way to St Mary’s school but for now, some photos of our lovely afternoon and we cannot thank enough to everybody who came along to join in our festivities! 🎄🕺🏻💃❤️🎉🎉

On behalf of Personal Choice Carers at Home we welcome you, your family and friends.

We are an independent, family run agency who through personal experience saw the need for a return to the old-fashioned principles of care.

We understand how overwhelming it can be when first starting to look for care for a loved one. Having been through this experience we are here to give you the support that you need to have peace of mind that when you cannot be there, we are providing the care that you would expect for your loved one.
