I attempted this last year and only completed half of the distance i'd planned thanks to a sickness bug (handed to me from the 4 little biohazards I've produced) hit me 20 miles in!

I let my team down as I spent the night 'running' too and from the van to the portaloos emptying anything which dared to enter my stomach!

I have unfinished business and intend to return this year! This time I'll be running for 24 hours solo and aim to (try) and be first lady (or at least first in my age group).

I'm currently training for Paris marathon, running around 30 miles a week. Following this I'll ramp up the mileage (in my spare time 🤔) with at least one child at a club every day of the week and working this is not easy! Any donation would be greatly appreciated!

100% of people who voted in the previous poll were clearly well educated in that strength training rescues the incidence of (overuse) injuries! It also has many other benefits......be the oldest person in the gym not the youngest person in the nursing home!

Always controversial as there is a mix of personal views with regards to stretching but research shows there is no link between stretching (dynamic or static) and injury prevention!

There is some evidence to show stretching can improve flexibility and can be good for you mentally. My advice - if you enjoy stretching and it makes you feel good then stretch, those of you who find it a chore, don't do it! Simple 🤷‍♀️
