You will encounter only a few people in life that you connect with on a soul level. They can enter at any point and can leave in many ways. We never truly know how much time we have with them, whether they will travel with you on your path for life, part ways at a folk in the road or whether we will cross paths again. Life can be busy but I have learned it's important to appreciate all those around you and be present with them even in the smaller moments, especially in those.

I came across this quote recently (although true source unknown). We don't need to prove who we are, be a certain way for others or demonstrate any form of growth. I feel the most important thing is to simply be ourselves and shine in our own way day after day. Growth and healing is for ourselves and it comes in many forms. There is strength is simply being present and being ourselves.

We all feel “broken” or “lost” at times and that is OK. I believe it’s important we try to never judge or pressure people to be “whole” or put expectations on them. We never truly understand what they are facing internally or emotionally, but we should always be there for them, to listen and just give them a space for them to be themselves and heal at their pace. The world would be a far more loving and understanding place if we could allow people to come to us as they are without judgement or expectation. Everyone is different and those differences are what make us all special.
