👫 Another adult is very welcome to attend with you (plenty of room for chairs behind mats, and you can swap and change onto the mat area as much as you want)

👧🏼 Siblings - as it’s bank holiday (Easter Monday), you may have little ones with you… we will need to restrict the amount of children we have attending (to obviously keep it safe for babies), but we’ll be able to accommodate a few in each class… please book a ‘sibling ticket’ (charged at £2 extra) if you would like to bring a sibling along with you (they will need to stay seated on the mats with you and be supervised at all times) - we will be reducing baby numbers to accommodate a few siblings in each… once they’re booked up, we unfortunately cannot add any more in!

A Thank you to our Sutton Busy Bees class today for supporting Scarlet and her family, who provided cakes for sale, for donations to Tiny Tickers! They are raising awareness of Congenital Heart Disease and the importance of early detection in pregnancy❤️‍🩹

This week is Tiny Tickers’ Heart Week (7th -14th February).

Scarlet, who has loved bloom classes from being 7 weeks old (first in Ruskin, and now at Sutton), was born with congenital heart disease. She was diagnosed with a condition called Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF). At 7 months old, Scarlet required open heart surgery at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Now 4 months post surgery, she is thriving❤️

Due to early detection in pregnancy, Scarlet’s parents were made aware of her diagnosis, how birth would look, and any possibility of intervention upon birth. This gave her parents time to learn about their daughter’s condition and what to expect before she arrived. Most importantly, early detection gave the cardiologists and surgeons the information that they needed to save her life.

Tiny Tickers is a small charity that supports families and children along their CHD journey. They also train sonographers to spot CHD in pregnancy. Their values mean a lot to Scarlet and her family. Any donations, big or small, are hugely appreciated ❤️‍🩹

Bloom Baby Classes

What do we do?

Bloom provide highly researched baby development programmes for babies from 6 weeks of age to 14 months. Each activity has been carefully researched to provide a benefit to parent as well as your baby. Our teacher led approach centres around the 3 stages of learning (Social/Emotional, Cognitive and Physical) allowing little ones to explore and experience our fun classes with their parents.

Our brand focuses on post natal wellbeing and mental health. We understand how life changes after having a baby and with that in mind we ensure our classes are welcoming and inclusive to all. We like to get to know our parents as well as their baby’s and many parents stay with us until they return to work. Each activity aims to strengthen the bond between you and baby and we show you activities that you can replicate at home.

For younger babies we encourage tummy time as well as gentle exercises to help strengthen muscle tone. Our beautiful parachutes encourage visual skills and tracking and at the end of each class a gentle baby massage ensures your baby sleeps well after class.
