🚐 DPF Refurbishment on a Vauxhall Movano – Trade Support Done Right 🔧💨

Another day, another trade callout! One of our regular trade clients had already carried out all the prerequisite repair work on this Vauxhall Movano, but the DPF was still saturated and needed a proper on-vehicle refurb to bring it back into a fully serviceable condition.

Armed with our MET-CLEAN methods, pressure and flow checks, and the right diagnostic approach, we restored the DPF’s performance and got this van breathing properly again.

But the job doesn’t end at the clean…

Once the DPF was refurbished, we connected using Genuine Vauxhall dealer tooling – GDS2 & SPS.
✔️ Carried out the necessary DPF-related resets
✔️ Completed the software adaptations after the clean
✔️ Verified soot/ash levels, differential pressure values and regeneration readiness exactly as the manufacturer intended

This ensures the ECU knows the DPF is back to healthy condition and prevents premature warnings returning. No shortcuts, no guesswork – just proper dealer-level procedures.

🚐 Trade Support: Ford Transit SCR Inducement Reset 🔧💻

One of our trade partners had a Ford Transit in the workshop after fitting a new AdBlue/SCR tank assembly… but the SCR inducement warning refused to clear, leaving the van stuck in limp mode and the customer unable to get back on the road.

That’s where we stepped in.

Using our genuine access to Ford’s dealer platform – FDRS, paired with our professional VCI hardware, we carried out the exact manufacturer-specified resets required after replacing the SCR tank.

✔️ Correct resets performed within FDRS
✔️ Full system checks completed
✔️ SCR inducement cleared
✔️ Vehicle restored to full performance

🚗 BMW X6 – In-Depth Diagnosis, ICM Replacement & Programming 🛠️

This BMW X6 came to us with a very specific and frustrating fault — traction control light illuminating at around 60–70mph. No guesswork here. We carried out rigorous, structured testing, combining our own proven diagnostic methods with BMW ISTA’s Guided Fault Finding (GFF).

📊 After analysing live data, CAN activity, road test behaviours and GFF logic, the evidence clearly pointed to a failed ICM (Integrated Chassis Management) module.

So, the next steps:

🔧 Centre console stripped
🔧 ICM module removed & replaced exactly as per ISTA repair instructions
💻 Control unit replacement procedure completed within ISTA to ensure correct coding, initialisation and integration across the chassis network.

And of course… none of this would have been possible without our Topdon RLink Lite.
