This is what community looks like when it’s done properly. Not a tick-box exercise, not a report on a shelf… actual people supporting one another.

We’re pulling this together into a video to show funders exactly why these sessions matter, but honestly, you don’t need a report to see it. You just need to be in the room.

Today was definitely a top five moment for 2026 so far.

I had the amazing chance to visit the wonderful team at Ince Community Centre to talk about launching the Unfiltered Parent Circle there… and honestly, it just felt right.

They were welcoming from the off and it is a genuinely sweet centre. It has that truly community focused feel.

We all know how much spaces matter. From the gut feeling you get the moment you walk in to the little gestures of kindness. This one has heart.

I also had a really positive conversation with Lyndsey from ABC Childcare about how we can best support families locally. Not just “run sessions”, but actually respond to what parents in Ince need, what’s missing and what would genuinely help.

That’s what this is about.
