✨ Exciting News for Our Community ✨

We’re delighted to share that a new Dementia Friendly Music Group will be starting soon!

📅 Friday 8th May
⏰ 1:30pm
📍 St Paul’s Church

Music in Mind is a fantastic programme supporting people living with dementia and their carers. Led by professional musicians, music therapists, and trained “Music Champions,” these sessions are all about creating moments of joy, connection, and wellbeing through music. 🎶

💙 What to expect:
• Relaxed, person-centred “Music Café” sessions
• Opportunities to connect through music, even without words
• A safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
• Support for both individuals living with dementia and their carers

Music is a powerful tool – helping people express themselves, connect with others, and share meaningful moments together.

This programme is part of a wider initiative to make music-based dementia support accessible to communities across the UK.

Well, you’re not alone - and on Monday 27 April you're invited to a FREE back pain education session, delivered by our amazing First Contact Practitioners team👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

🕚 Education session: 11:00am-12:00 noon (arrival from 10.30am)

✅ Learn practical ways to manage your symptoms
✅ Ask questions and get expert, evidence based advice

🍝𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 - 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐎𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡🍝

𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶

Spent a lovely Easter Monday at Bolton Abbey with my sister and her family, my daughter and granddaughters, and if you are ever up in that neck of the woods I recommend a visit as there are plenty of lovely walks, tea rooms and the views are stunning!

The recipe I've chosen for this month is spinach and ricotta cannelloni which my sister made for our tea and was so quick, easy and tasty, perfect after a busy day at work. Its also vegetarian and can also be made vegan by swopping out a few of the ingredients.

Beth joined the team in March 2023 and brings great energy and dedication to her role. Her biggest achievement so far? Buying her first home and completing a full renovation - amazing! 🏡✨

🚐 Exciting news for our community!

Locala, one of our fantastic Family Hub partners, now has a new clinical van – a fully equipped clinic on wheels bringing services directly to you.

They can support with all sexual health needs, including:
• Help and advice
• Contraception
• C-Cards
• STI testing

The service is open to everyone in the community and includes accessibility adaptations where needed.
