Join us on Sunday 1st March 11am-3pm for our Community Charity Reiki Share event in aid of Daffodils Dreams

Experience a 30 minute reiki session with one of our qualified reiki practitioners then pop your donation into the charity box provided. All the money raised will go to a local Wigan charity that offers support and resources for local families.

If you would like to support our event but pushed for time, shorter sessions are available on request

Reiki sessions are lying down on a comfortable therapy bed or if you prefer seated in a chair. You will remain fully clothed throughout the session, though we may ask you to remove your shoes if you are lying down.

All sessions are on a donation basis, give what you can afford or as much as you like, we will also have a tombola with lots of prizes for you to hopefully win, tickets are 2 for £1 and again all the money raised will go directly to Daffodils Dreams.

Reiki and Seichem 1st Degree Course

The 1st Degree training is for those who wish to access the healing energy of the ancient ways, connect to life affirming healing energy, awaken your intuition and step into your true authentic self.
Once attuned you will have the ability to treat yourself with the self healing procedure as well as treat family and friends (and animals).Using specific hand positions to aid cosmic light energy to flow through the aura and chakras, enhancing the body’s own natural ability to heal itself on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.

The course is run over 2 days.
After completing Reiki and Seichem 1st Degree you’ll be attuned to Usui Reiki, Ancient Egyptian Lightworkers, the Angelic Realm and the Four Elemental Healing Rays

Ive had quite a few new followers recently so I just want to let everyone know what Michelle Ashcroft Holistics is all about

Holistic Therapies
I’ve been a full time therapist for over 34 years, offering a wide range of intuitive led therapies. I’m always happy to listen too and understand the individual needs of my clients and tailor therapy sessions for their physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Wellbeing Activities and Events
As one of the co founders of the Wigan Wellness Web our ethos was to build a community of like minded people and offer sessions that were accessible and affordable, which we’ve achieved since we started in 2022
I currently offer regular group sessions at Highfield Community Centre, WN36GH. Sessions include Monthly Meditation Evening, Reiki Drum Meditation, Sacred Soul Gatherings, Reiki Share and Working with Crystals Workshops.
I’ll also be offering regular drumming circles soon so keep your eye on our social media pages for further information

Holistic Therapies Training
I started teaching Reiki and Seichem Courses back in 2014, adding Indian Head Massage and Thermo Auricular Therapy Courses soon after. I’ve added more therapy training in the last few years including Crystal Reflexology, Crystal Healing Practitioner and a Crystal for Beginners Workshop.
There’s more courses to come over the next 12 months too!!

On a personal note I love what I do, I’m truly blessed to have a vocation that enables me to help and guide others, to be able to pass on my experiences and knowledge through teaching and to enjoy the company of the community we’ve built through our regular group sessions.

Blessed Imbolc
As we celebrate the coming of Spring and the returning light we look forward to an abundant, brighter future.

The season of rest and stillness is coming to an end as we start to make plans for the rest of the year.
You may already have some ideas or projects in mind and this is the time to start setting intentions and making a plan of action.
We often desire a specific outcome but fail to probably prepare to activate and nurture our hopes and dreams, as we just hope for the best. Imbolc is the time for sowing the seeds and affirming your true desire, focusing on how you can achieve exactly what you want.
Journaling and Mind Maps are great to put all your ideas and thoughts down then follow through with a plan of action.

On a personal note I love working with the drum and recently obtained a few more ( I feel drums are like crystals you can never have too many, though they are slightly bigger to store🤣)
I’ve been considering different ways of incorporate them into my well being activities as well as strengthening my connection to my Collective for my own personal wellbeing.
To sow my seeds of intention and activate my desired outcome I’ve started a Drumming Circle Facilitators course which not only gives me some very practical guidance but also connects me to other like minded souls 😊

So as we greet Imbolc with an open heart and mind reflect on your own hopes and desires, set your intention clearly and then take action to set the wheels in motion!

As this year represents the universal number 1, 2026 is all about starting a fresh with New Beginnings, Oneness and Unity. So this is the perfect opportunity to step up and step into something you’ve been dreaming of for a while, embrace the challenge and don’t look back!!

This week I’ve spent recharging and relaxing in the hills of beautiful Hawkshead in the Lake District
After attending a life affirming soul retreat last year with Suzy-Ann and Natalie from Sunny Brow Farm Retreats I couldn’t wait to go back for more😊
From yoga and meditation to rituals and ceremony we were held in sacred space to heal and grow.
Indulging in not one but two massages I felt truly blessed as my body fully appreciated the kindness and gentle persuasion it was offered.
My Soul Reading was a full on awakening with lots of clarification and a very unexpected realisation that explains a lot about the way I perceive many of my life experiences and interactions. Some reflection is definitely required to integrate all this beautiful knowledge😌
Beautiful vegan food, the company of some amazing Goddesses including the lovely Julie Green Was Grindley and of course the obligatory trip to Sacred Essence and the crystal shop in Ambleside🐲💀topped off the week 🥰

Feeling totally blessed and back to a not so sunny Wigan to put on a clothes wash and get ready for work tomorrow. 😊xx

Indian Head Massage Course
10am-4pm

A professional 1 day training course in Indian head massage accredited and validated by ABT

Indian head massage is a relaxing holistic therapy which helps alleviate symptoms and conditions relating to the shoulders, neck and head as well as aiding relaxation and improving general well being. Indian head massage is carried out with the recipient sitting in a chair so is ideal for those who find it difficult getting on a treatment couch or find it uncomfortable lying on their front.

This is a comprehensive course suitable for complete beginners who would like to treat family and friends or for professional therapists who would like to add Indian Head Massage to their treatment list.

Course contents includes:
Introduction
History of Indian head massage
Benefits of Indian head massage
The holistic approach
Contra indications and precautions
Massage techniques
Practical experience

There is no exam or case studies to complete the course. Students are observed throughout the practical session. If you feel you would like more supervised practical experience after the course this can be arranged. Certificates are awarded at the end of the course.

Students are provided with a comprehensive manual to take home. Students should wear loose fitting clothing and have short finger nails for the massage.
Students should bring a light lunch. Tea, coffee and water is provided throughout the day
Maximum of 4 students per class to ensure individual attention

Exchange: £100 (a non refundable deposit of £30 is required to book a place)

We have a very special event coming up on Sunday 1st March as we host a community charity event in aid of Daffodils Dreams a local charity who offers support and resources for families in the Wigan area.

Join us to experience the healing energy of Reiki for your mind, body and soul as local reiki practitioners offer 20-30 minutes reiki sessions in exchange for a donation, with all of the money raised going to Daffodil Dreams.

What is Reiki:
An energy based healing therapy which works on realigning and balancing life force energy (chi) which flows through and around our physical body. As a holistic therapy, Reiki works on our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Reiki is received by the recipient fully clothed either lying on a therapy bed or seated in a chair.

Appointments will be available to book in advance from Monday 16th February and walk ins on the day will also be welcome (there may be a wait)

We will also have a tombola with lots of prizes to be won to raise as much money as we can for this very worthy cause.
