What does a reading with me look like?

So I get questions around what will happen on the day, and I thought it would be nice to share what you can expect when you come to me for a reading at the upcoming Wigan's Wellbeing Festival in November.

❤️ Settling in - on the day it may feel a bit frantic with all the energy around, and so I like to settle in by asking you to gently close your eyes and relax in the chair. I will use my homemade sage mist to clear the energy around you, I will then use channelled energy from my light language and reiki to give you a brief moment of healing and to identify where energy may be stuck in your body to help with the reading.

❤️ As you come back into the room with your energy calmed and your mind focused, I will ask you to take hold of the cards and to cradle them in heart space. I will ask you to envision pushing your energy into the deck and ask the tarot, what needs to be shared today. While you do this, I will use my crystals to connect my higher self to your higher self to ask for guidance.

❤️ Shuffling the cards- I will ask your preferred method of choosing cards. This can either be that the deck is spread and you choose your own, or that I shuffle and whatever pops out the deck belongs to your reading (which is usually the most popular choice)

❤️ Using the cards, the energies felt with reiki and my intuitive/higher guidance I will read the cards for you to give you a picture of what is going on.
Be reassured I will always try my best to empathise with how you feel in that moment. I also won't tell you anything that would be terrifying (I've had some clients who were understandably scared about the death card and it's meaning, but it doesn't mean what you may interpret it to be, and I would never say something as extreme as this)

❤️ Ending the read, you will get to choose a lovely gift at the end and go about the rest of your day around the festival.

As our Sunday night draws to a close, and along with it, it takes the last day of August.. Tommorrow we will awake in a brand new month, which will bring with it, it's own brand new season on the 22nd, Autumn🍂.

Tonight's card pull, the Queen of pentacles.

Now is the time to begin nurturing. We can do this by taking care of our bodies and offering nourishment and enrichment from the offerings of mother earth, eating well and healthy will prepare us for the colder months ahead now. Hearty soups and broths, stews and home cooked meals nourish the body in the best way.

We can make space and take time for ourselves to heal mentally and physically. With the colder months ahead, there will come a time to retreat and take stock of the year so far. Make sure you take these moments to reflect.

And most importantly, generosity. Not just to others, but to ourselves. We are often our own worst critic. When was the last time you offered yourself gentle words of encouragement? Congratulated yourself on your achievements? Recognised how far you have come? Now is the time to be kind to ourselves.

Pentacles talks of connection to money, and also to our health. And the queen urges you to be ready for the winter ahead, to make sure you are treating yourself with kindness, and make sure you have everything you need for Autumn 🍁 and winter ❄️

It's time to back off! Perhaps a person or a situation that is not in your best interests.

If you are a yes person, it's time to reclaim your power and to stop people pleasing!

The angels see that you want to be that person that helps, the one that steps forward to catch others when they stumble, they are in admiration of your love and loyalty. However, you are reminded not to do this if it means jeopardizing your own peace.

Use your instincts, be guided by your own intuition. You can say no to protect your own peace, without it being confrontational or negative.

Detach from these situations with love and peace. ask yourself, is this person or situation draining you of your energy, be respectful and kind, but build clear boundaries so that others understand you are not there for your love and support to be abused.

Well, it's been a minute since I was holding space for others!
It's been a heck of an 8 month journey medically wise for me..and I get a little stronger each and every day.

Today I am back doing what I love the most and I Cannot wait to read today ❤️ holding space for others makes me truly happy and fills my heart up.
