Tuesday 11 November is Armistice Day 2025. We have a decreasing number of UK veterans who fought in World War II - fewer than 8,000. Veterans are more likely to have both physical and mental health problems.

If you have served in the armed forces, even for a day, you are classed as a military veteran. It is important that we hold this information on your medical records to ensure you receive the right care at the right time and by the right person, it can also help aid diagnosis. If you haven't done so already please let the receptionist or clinician know so that we can update your medical records.

Our annual Light for a Life service on Sunday 30 November is a firm favourite in our supporters’ calendars, and it offers the perfect opportunity to come together and remember those you love at Christmas time.

Enjoy readings, Christmas music, brass band music from 4pm on the afternoon, and there will be the chance to make your Light for a Life dedication if you haven’t already done so.

Light for a Life dedications can be made from October 2025 to 6th January 2026.
