I am a lively and sociable person, but I'm often overwhelmed by the noise of the busy world we live in.

I need a lot of quiet time and it was wonderful to discover Quiet Connections in Camborne.

To be in a gentle space with like-minded people, engaging in meaningful and entertaining conversation, not feeling under pressure to be anything other than my true, messy and awkward self was so refreshing - a real healing experience.

I love the beautiful colours, shapes and textures of the rock pools at St Agnes.

For a long time the Scarf has been the only artistic project I've been involved in and rediscovering my old art supplies and attempts at pictures as we prepared to move house has reignited my desire to mess about with different art forms.

In the past I felt ashamed and limited by my lack of skill, but now I'm viewing things from a different perspective. I'm beginning to shed some of the old beliefs about the purpose of creativity and recognising how the sheer joy of the experience is enough.

MAGIC AND MIRACLES

I heard that Einstein said life could be lived in one of two ways: either as though nothing is a miracle or as if everything is a miracle.

Choosing to see everything as a miracle creates a very powerful state, one in which we are open to possibilities, opportunities and solutions to challenges.

It also creates a personal magnetic energy that can uplift every encounter.

Today I've had a day full of magic and miracles, including a wonderful conversation with Brenda who chose today's duck. ✨️
