We had a great day today at Westfield, a suprise birthday celebration for the lovely Iffy, she celebrated a big birthday today ?? :).
The Ladies came out in force to decorate all the vases with fresh flowers, they did an amazing job as always, with big thanks to Jane for helping out with the flower cutting. Fresh flowers alround, smells lovely x

This week's the ladies became Autumnal, with our leafy, pumpkin wreath making session, at the same time, Suzanne was preparing our small feature space. With her fantastic imagination and attention to detail, the new Wreath looked right at home. The day ended with a cracking Hull Fair Tea, with quarter pounders in a brioche bun, cheese and fried onions, hotdogs and chips.

This week's activities, we have mixed it up a bit..
Still life coloured pencil class was apples and grapes. We approached light and shade, colour blending and shading, and have to say, I think the ladies surprised themselves :).
2nd activity was air hockey without the air, its surprising what you can make with a swimming noodle. Upper arm excersise, and a right old good laugh. Everyone will sleep well tonight :)

In the Art club, we attempted watercolours, I asked the ladies just create flowers of your choice, and they did, these pieces will eventually work their way into various frames around the home. Enjoy :)
