🤍 Open the Door to Self Care 🤍

It’s so important for everyone, including myself as a hypnotherapist, to take time to rest, recharge, and reconnect.

This week, I treated myself to an Indian head massage and Angelic Reiki with Lauren, , and it was absolutely wonderful 💆‍♀️

Lauren has such a calm, grounded energy and her presence instantly put me at ease. The Indian head massage helped release tension from my scalp, neck, and shoulders, while the Reiki brought a deep sense of peace, warmth, and balance that lingered long after the session.

Reiki can help clear emotional blocks, calm the nervous system, and restore natural energy flow, while Indian head massage improves circulation, relieves stress, and leaves you feeling lighter and more centred.

As a therapist, I’m reminded how vital it is to nurture our own wellbeing too. Self-care isn’t indulgent, it’s essential. 🌿

🍁 Mindful Walking: A Simple Path to Presence

A mindfulness walk isn’t about getting from A to B - it’s about being fully here, step by step.
✨ Feel your feet connecting with the ground.
✨ Notice the rhythm of your breath.
✨ Hear the subtle sounds around you - leaves rustling, birds calling, wind moving softly through the air.

As you walk, let your mind settle. Each step becomes an anchor to the present moment; easing stress, improving focus, and helping your body release tension.

👱‍♀️💎🍁 Autumn is a time of letting go… here is a poem that may resonate with you if you are worrying or have something on your mind:

She let go.
She let go. Without a thought or a word, she let go.
She let go of the fear.
She let go of the judgments.
She let go of the confluence of opinions swarming around her head.
She let go of the committee of indecision within her.
She let go of all the ‘right’ reasons.
Wholly and completely, without hesitation or worry, she just let go.
She didn’t ask anyone for advice.
She didn’t read a book on how to let go.
She didn’t search the scriptures.
She just let go.
She let go of all of the memories that held her back.
She let go of all of the anxiety that kept her from moving forward.
She let go of the planning and all of the calculations about how to do it just right.
She didn’t promise to let go.
She didn’t journal about it.
She didn’t write the projected date in her Day-Timer.
She made no public announcement and put no ad in the paper.
She didn’t check the weather report or read her daily horoscope.
She just let go.
She didn’t analyze whether she should let go.
She didn’t call her friends to discuss the matter.
She didn’t do a five-step Spiritual Mind Treatment.
She didn’t call the prayer line.
She didn’t utter one word.
She just let go.
No one was around when it happened.
There was no applause or congratulations.
No one thanked her or praised her.
No one noticed a thing.
Like a leaf falling from a tree, she just let go.
There was no effort.
There was no struggle.
It wasn’t good and it wasn’t bad.
It was what it was, and it is just that.
In the space of letting go, she let it all be.
A small smile came over her face.
A light breeze blew through her.
And the sun and the moon shone forevermore…

Today is one of the most spiritual days of the year - Halloween… 👻

Potentially a really good time to explore your own spiritual journey and learn about yourself in a much deeper level…

In Salvador Dalí’s The Persistence of Memory, the melting clocks remind us that time is not fixed or rigid, but soft, fluid, and relative, particularly in the world of dreams and the subconscious.

This idea beautifully parallels the experience of past life regression.
When we enter a deep hypnotic state, the boundaries of time begin to dissolve. The conscious mind relaxes… and memories, whether from this life or beyond, can surface with clarity and meaning.

In Dalí’s painting, every element holds symbolic weight:
🕰 Melting clocks - the fluid nature of time and perception
🐜 Ants on a hard watch - decay and the inevitable end of things
🌊 Barren landscape — a reflection of inner emptiness or timeless stillness

Similarly, in regression work, we explore how the subconscious holds stories beyond logic - revealing emotions, lessons, and wisdom that can heal the present.

Time, after all, is just another landscape of the mind.
