Sometimes the most powerful feedback is simply hearing how someone feels after treatment.

My lovely patient Sam, kindly shared a few words after her session yesterday about how acupuncture has supported a long-standing health concern. Hearing that someone feels relief, calm and a little more like themselves again is exactly why I love what I do.

Our bodies have an incredible ability to rebalance when given the right support.

If you’ve been struggling with something that just doesn’t feel quite right in your body, acupuncture may be able to help support you back into balance.

Acupuncture is so much more than needles.

It’s listening.
It’s guidance.
It’s supporting the body to find its natural balance again.

From sleep and digestion to stress, fertility and pain — sometimes the smallest shifts can make the biggest difference.

And sometimes it’s simply about feeling supported.

Be kind to yourself

Chia seeds may be tiny, but they’re incredibly nourishing. Packed with fibre, omega-3 fats, plant protein and essential minerals, they can help support digestion, steady energy levels and overall gut health. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, chia seeds are considered gently moistening and nourishing, helping to support body fluids and lubricate the intestines, which can be particularly helpful if digestion feels dry or sluggish.
They’re easy to add to your day too: stir into yoghurt or porridge, or soak overnight to make a simple chia pudding. Small, nourishing additions like this can be a lovely way to support your body.

Hay fever can be exhausting — the constant sneezing, itchy eyes, congestion and foggy head can really wear you down. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, seasonal allergies are often linked to an imbalance in the Lung and immune system (what we call Wei Qi), which leaves the body more reactive to pollen and environmental triggers. Acupuncture works to gently support the immune system, calm inflammation and help regulate the body’s response to allergens. Many patients find that regular treatments during hay fever season can reduce the intensity of symptoms and help them breathe a little easier. If hay fever tends to affect you every year, starting acupuncture early in the season can make a real difference.

Your body is constantly sending signals.
The problem is… most of us have been taught to ignore them.

Things like afternoon crashes, bloating, waking in the night or feeling wired but exhausted are often clues that the body is out of balance.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine we listen to these patterns and work with the body to restore harmony.

If you’re experiencing some of these signs, acupuncture may help support your system back into balance.

DM to book in for treatment or a quick call to see if acupuncture can support your health concerns.

A few moments from clinic this week that made me smile.

Acupuncture isn’t just about symptoms — it’s about supporting the whole person.

✨ calming the nervous system
✨ restoring sleep
✨ supporting fertility
✨ easing pain
✨ strengthening immunity
✨ helping inflamed skin heal

Small changes can make a huge difference in how someone feels day to day.

If you’re feeling out of balance, acupuncture may help support you too.

Be kind to yourself this weekend xx

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, healthy skin starts from within. The skin reflects the balance of several key internal systems. Strong Spleen and Stomach digestion helps transform food into the nutrients that nourish the skin. The Liverensures Qi and Blood flow smoothly, so when stress builds and Liver Qi stagnates, flare-ups such as redness, breakouts or irritation can appear. The Lungs govern the skin and play a role in immunity and protective Qi, helping the body defend against external factors. Finally, well-nourished Blood and Yin keep the skin hydrated, calm and resilient. When these systems are supported, the skin often becomes clearer, stronger and more balanced.

Be kind to yourself and remember that healing the skin often means supporting the body as a whole. If you have any questions about how Acupuncture can help with your skin issues please message me 🙏🏻

When your Liver Qi becomes stuck, it doesn’t just affect one area — it can show up as tension in your body, irritability, poor digestion and that feeling of being “off.” In clinic, I always come back to the foundations, and food is a powerful place to start. The right foods can gently support movement, ease stagnation and help your system feel more balanced again. Start simple, stay consistent, and your body will begin to respond.

Liver Qi Stagnation is a common diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is associated with various physical and emotional symptoms. It is one of the most common imbalances I see in my patients. Due to our busy, overloaded lifestyles, the Liver is the most affected organ system in the body.

Emotional Symptoms include:

- Anger, Irritability or moodiness,
- Depression or anxiety,
- Frequent sighing,

Physical Symptoms include:

- Abdominal bloating, poor digestion,
- Pain or discomfort along the sides of the body,
- Irregular or painful menstruation in women,
- Breast tenderness,
- Headaches or migraines, especially those triggered by stress,
- Blurred vision, floaters

Acupuncture is an effective treatment to remove stagnation and promote the smooth flow of Qi throughout the Liver. Eating foods that support the Liver and making lifestyle changes can really benefit the way you feel everyday. If you would like to know more or book in for a treatment to address any imbalances you may have, then please message me - I would love to help 🙏🏻
