🐰 Knutsford Bunny Hop is back

We love seeing the town come to life for moments like this. It’s what being part of Knutsford is all about.

If you’re out exploring, keep an eye out for our win! 👀

For 36 years, we’ve been looking after families here. From children coming in for their very first eye test, to now seeing them return with children of their own.

That continuity matters and so does getting things right from the very beginning.

Children’s NHS eye exams available 6 days a week. 😎

Enjoy the Bunny Hop and we’ll see you around town 🐇

Happy Cheshire Day from all at C&I 👀

We love being part of a county known for independence, attention to detail, and doing things properly.

We believe your eye care should reflect the same.

Health & Wellness Week continues in .

Today, we’re focusing on the role of nutrition in long-term eye health, alongside targeted supplementation such as Nutrof Total.

Eye health doesn’t exist in isolation.

What you eat, how you live, and how consistently you look after your body all contribute to how your eyes perform and age over time.

Fresh fruit and vegetables, rich in antioxidants and essential nutrients, form the foundation.

Cold pressed juices throughout the day are a simple way to support this, especially when life gets busy. Try a selection of these in practice today from

From there, carefully formulated supplements can provide additional support, particularly for those looking to protect retinal health or manage early changes.

It’s not about replacing good habits.
It’s about building on them with intention.

We’ll be discussing all of this in practice today, so if you’re nearby, feel free to drop in, ask questions, and explore what proactive eye care can really look like.

This morning we’re hosting a walk-in Dry Eye Q&A at our Knutsford practice.

No appointment needed. Just pop in if you’ve ever wondered about things like:

• Why your eyes feel gritty or irritated
• Why they water even though they feel dry
• Screen-related eye strain
• Contact lens discomfort
• Red, tired or sensitive eyes
• Or simply what dry eye actually is

Two of our experienced optometrists will be available to answer questions, explain what might be happening, and give guidance on the best next steps if something needs looking at more closely.

It’s also a good chance to see how our dry eye clinic works and understand how modern diagnostics can help us look beyond simply recommending drops.

Sometimes a short conversation can make a big difference.

Dry, irritated or tired eyes?

Today at Clare & Illingworth Knutsford, we’re running a dry eye drop-in clinic, giving you the chance to ask questions and learn more about what might be causing your symptoms.

Dry eye can show up in many ways. You might notice:

• Gritty or sandy feeling in the eyes
• Burning or stinging sensations
• Redness or irritation
• Watery eyes that never quite feel comfortable
• Blurred or fluctuating vision
• Sensitivity to light
• Tired eyes when reading or using screens
• Contact lenses becoming uncomfortable

Many people live with these symptoms for years without realising there are ways to properly diagnose and treat the cause.

If any of this sounds familiar, drop in today at our Knutsford practice. We’ll be around to answer questions, talk through symptoms, and explain how dry eye can be assessed and managed.

No pressure, just good advice.
