Looking after loved ones at home with care and compassion is at the centre of everything we do. We understand that there’s ‘no place like home’ and offer the means to maintain as much of your independence as possible. As we grow older, home becomes even more important, a santuary of security and saftey and a place of precious memories. Our carers are carefully selected and we specialise in non-medical care and the support of older people in their own homes, ensuring freedom to stay at home where hapiness and comfort prevails.

Affinity Homecare’s dedicated staff will bring a professional approach to the provision of quality care to all our clients. As a team of care professionals we are ideally placed to provide a care package that will allow our clients to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. Affinity Homecare ensure complete flexibility to all clients by operating 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year which is available across a range of times, from 30 minutes calls to 24 hours a day. From an hour a day to 24 hours a day 7 days a week, we provide a full care package to match the needs of the individual which includes the following:

•Sitting service
•Escort to appointments
•Collect prescriptions
•Provide light housekeeping
•Dusting and vacuuming
•Help with washing and ironing
•Making beds and changing bed linen
•Meal preparation and tidy away
•Help with shopping
•Help with bathing

•Help with incontinence care
•Assist with eating
•Dementia care
•Alzheimer’s care
•Provide respite care
•Provide convalescence care
•Provide medication reminders
•Assist with wake up /morning and evening / tuck in
•Assist with dressing
•Provide grooming

A poem to the one who cares !

Some days I’m lost before I speak,
my mind is tired, my body weak.
I ask the same things, night and day,
and push your patience far away.

I know this road is cruel and long,
I know it asks you to be strong
on days you’re empty, worn, and numb,
still loving me when words won’t come.

I see the tears you never show,
the grief you carry as you go.
