Catherine Grist

Catherine Grist Nutritionist, Somatic Therapist, Health and Transformational coach.

I support good health through a whole-body-mind-spirit approach
1:1 personal sessions and programmes
Workshops, circles and retreats
Corporate workshops, webinars and employee support I cut through the sensational headlines and overwhelming marketing by listening to my clients situations and needs to offer them practical dietary and lifestyle solutions to boost their energy levels and empower them to be the best possible versions of themselves and enable their whole families to thrive. I’ve always loved cooking and eating, but nutrition became an interest of mine in my early 20’s after I discovered the full impact it had on my health and energy as I embarked on a fast-paced city career. Fast forward a decade, and my interest was transformed into a true passion by the responsibility of bringing into this world and raising my two boys. This gave me the opportunity and courage to step away from what I was doing and turn my passion into a new career that could help others to also experience the power of food. For more information about working with me, drop me a message or book a free discovery call to find out how I can help you get back in control of your health and truly thrive!

In this ever changing world I’m being pushed to define who I am, what I do, what value I add. And this is it. My business USP is ME!

10 years I’ve worked with clients, 10 years of experience, further study, honing skills, and tryout understanding myself and what I bring to the table.

In a world where information is everywhere, clients need me more than ever to find a way through it, find out what is relevant to them and guide them through the changes they want to make for their health.

Book in a free chat today and let’s talk about where you want to get to and how I can help you get there. With love and alchemy, Catherine x

Who knows the flaws in using AI better than AI?
ChatGPT (largely) created this post for me. It is great at that.

It’s also great at suggesting meal plans and recipes and ingredient swaps. It can analyse macros pretty well too, and spot missing nutrients.

But it doesn’t have clinical experience or knowledge and it doesn’t take responsibility. It can’t read body language and support the nuanced picture with compassion and empathy. It sucks at supporting real deep and meaningful behaviour change.

So please use AI to support you appropriately, but please be mindful of its limits. At best it’s often unhelpful and confusing. At worst…

Slow living… I picked wild strawberries in the summer, and froze them because I wanted to make wild strawberry shortbreads today 🥰 It’s become my own little tradition. I love remembering the sun on my skin when I picked them, and I loved already tasting these shortbreads back on that summer day in July… There’s something so delightful about intention and connecting ourselves in the present, future and past moments.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone - what did you gift yourself today? ❤️

Yesterday I received a list of supplements from a client, things she had been recommended by Dr Google. She really wanted to understand which might help, which weren’t worth trying, and what else might be out there that she had missed. And the reality was she had actually tried quite a few of them anyway, at considerable cost, to no tangible benefit.

If this is you, book a free call and let’s chat. My approach is a compassionate and food first one, and when I recommend supplements it’s because I’ve really assessed and considered them for YOU.

We all wish there was a magic supplement out there to fix us, but the reality is it’s much more nuanced than that. Let me hear YOUR whole story and then help guide you towards the things that really can help YOU.

After working in Nutrition for 10 years, I see more and more the impact of our relationships with food, our bodies and ourselves.

I just had to share this beautiful quote from .avivaromm which articulates the essence of everything I do in my work supporting people with their health.

A beginners guide to slow living… or perhaps a reminder 🤞🏼

I created this based on my reflections to a wonderful week guiding 8 beautiful souls through the process of unplugging to recharge, slow living, at my winter retreat.

Thank you

My Story

Are you tired all the time? Suffering from poor digestion or bloating? Don’t feel quite 100%? Are your hormones are in havoc? Struggling to lose that extra weight?

I'm a Nutritional Therapist based in South West London (Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Morden) offering one to one consultations, workshops and courses. And I’m passionate about both good food and health, which I am confident I can prove to you go hand in hand!

As a Mum of two young boys, I know how difficult it is to juggle our daily lives and still make good food choices, but changing my own diet and studying nutrition science was the best decision I ever made and one that that I’d love to share with you too!
