All of us have niggles in our bodies caused by our day to day habits. Whether it’s sitting at a desk all day or resting a baby on one hip, these habits create imbalances in our posture and in time can create injuries and pain. Pilates strengthens and tones, increases flexibility, realigns your body and corrects posture when practiced regularly. A mindful exercise discipline it can also help with stress relief.
So if you require a stronger core,a more flexible body or simply an hour of calm ‘me’ time Pilates could be for you. Pilates is for everyone regardless of age or fitness ability.
After a long professional career as a dancer my body needed fixing and quite simply Pilates worked for me.
I am now a Body Control Pilates certified teacher offering matwork group classes. My classes are relatively small to ensure all my clients receive my full attention and exercises catered to personal needs. I am committed to continuing my knowledge with further courses and my own Pilates practice.
