What’s okay?

It’s okay to take a break. To reset and think more about where you want to go towards than just keep pumping out posts for the sake of being ‘present’.

I think as human beings we are naturally social, but socialising on platforms like this isn’t natural to me at all.

Stick me in a room with likeminded people and I’m away! But finding my people on here… that’s a whole different challenge.

I’m getting back on the horse, and I’m going to try to be more authentic with how I share content to stop a future burnout before it happens 🔥

Its been just over a week since it was 2022 and it already feels like so much has happened this year, but i am super pumped for all of the exciting things that are coming this year.

New Year New Me

Nah just kidding, same me here.

I know that January is all about setting new goals, fresh starts and caffeine fueled ambition. But instead of a gym membership for 12 months that you only use for the first 3 months (ask my wife), why don't you focus on small manageable changes that have a big long term impact on your body and your wellbeing.

Here's a bit of a throw back to last year when I spent a great deal of time out on my bike. Riding from A to B is the perfect switch from a heated car ride, something that's practical but has a long term impact.

Here's one example of a million that you could start today, and actually sustain.

SLEEP 😴

After listening to many hours of the I’ve loved learning about sleep and how to better my sleep to have optimal performance and feel great.

Along with this I found that massage can have a real benefit with improving sleep. This is due to the fact that massage can increase the production of serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is used to produce the hormone melatonin which is responsible for preparing the brain for sleep and helping with your circadian rhythms.

So if you are struggling with your sleep schedule why not give massage a try?

Did you know different massage oils have different effects?

As an SMT I’m always looking to use the best products for my clients, oil is a particularly important one to get right.

Why do we use oil?
It reduces the friction between my hands and your skin. Without these mediums skin can become hot and twisted, and the massage will likely become uncomfortable and less effective.

I like to mix my base oil with a few essential oils to make it completely unique to my services.

Important elements are:
☑️ Hypoallergenic, I want to avoid any allergic reactions!
☑️ Properties to reduce any inflammation.
☑️Help ease anxiety and clear your mind.
☑️Hydration
☑️Pain relief

Who knew so many things could come from what oil you use during massage?
