Most postnatal recovery advice starts with your abs.

Mine starts with your nervous system.

Because recovery is something your body already knows how to do…if only it had the time and safety to try.

If you’ve been running on caffeine and fumes, your body hasn’t forgotten how to heal.

And this definitely isn’t about “bouncing back.”

It’s about slowing down so your body can recalibrate.

When things start to settle:

😌 you stop bracing for the next cry

😮‍💨 you breathe more deeply without even realising

🤔 you can hear yourself think

I’ve seen it week after week in class - mums arriving on edge and leaving with a spring in their step.

Not because yoga fixed anything, but because it gave them space to remember what their body already knows.
