Just delivered the 300+ selection boxes to Hope for Food that have been so generously donated by colleagues, family, friends, local businesses and the amazing people of our communities.

The charity were so grateful and these will be despatched over the next weeks to children across the local area.

Hope for Food are an amazing charity run purely by volunteers supporting all those in need but rely so much on the generosity of others.

One of our favourite nights of the year is the Argyll Bowls Club Christmas Presentation Dinner at the Cumberland Hotel, Bournemouth.

During the festive fun Anthony was honoured to present the Nicholas O’Hara memorial trophy.

The completion was played on Presidents Day in August, where members play as teams. A beautiful warm summers day at the Argyll bowls club, on the West Cliff overlooking the sea, was filled with great friendly competition and tasty cream tea refreshments to end the day.

We are always so pleased to be able to support many different organisations, events and charities across our communities. Argyll Bowls Club are always so welcoming and a club built on friendship and fun that we are proud to be associated with.

This week is National Grief Awareness Week

The theme for 2025 is 'Growing with Grief'. The aim is to highlight how grief is an ending in many ways, but can also be the beginning of something new. The growth people may experience from grief doesn't erase the pain, but can help people to become more present, compassionate and aware of what matters in life.

The stunning Christmas lights got turned on in Westbourne last night, so many people came out to see them be switched on by local legend Harry Redknapp and Santa. The crowd was entertained by a choir singing carols and Buzz enjoyed it too!

Our Westbourne funeral home was lit up by our beautiful tree and the whole of the shopping area sparkled from the lights.
