Coronavirus [Covid-19]
Infection Prevention & Control Policy
All of us have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic
I have really missed you all and being able to offer you the treatments you all love, looking forward to seeing you all very soon.
My priority is to keep you as safe as possible, so prior to re-opening I have implemented a few changes which I would like to make you all aware of.
During the time I have been closed I have completed the coronavirus [covid-19] infection, prevention & control course which is accredited for professional beauty therapists.
I have made a number of changes which you will notice when you next visit Secret Beauty.
Booking Appointments
If I feel ill or have covid-19 symptoms, I will self isolate immediately. This will mean I have to cancel your appointment at very short notice. I appreciate this may be inconvenient, but done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to rebook or ask for a full refund /voucher.
If you or anyone you live with feel ill or are displaying any symptoms of covid-19 please let me know as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.
There will be no charge for any appointments missed due to illness visiting Secret Beauty.
I will be increasing the frequency of cleaning in the cabin making sure door handles, common surfaces etc are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client. When possible I will use single used items during treatment that will be disposed of safely protecting you against cross-contamination.
All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised according to manufacturers instructions for your safety.
You will have access to hand sanitiser for you to use before entering the cabin.
I will be using personal protective equipment [PPE] during your visit and during your treatment. This may include disposable aprons, disposable gloves and facemasks where appropriate.
All salon towels and uniforms will be washed at 60 degrees Celsius. All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area between each client.
To prevent any risks, I will require my client's to wear face masks to appointments.
Treatments
I have carried out a risk assessment on all of my treatments and can be confident I can continue to provide these safely with some treatments being adjusted.
During your treatment
I understand the importance of hand hygiene therefore I will ensure according with NHS recommendations I sanitise my hands before the start of your treatment.
All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine. I will continue to take advice from the government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend as necessary. I will be continuing to monitor government advice, reviewing and adapting these policies as appropriate.
Thank you for your understanding
