❗GP surgery website issues – important update for patients❗

IT issues are currently affecting the system that runs many GP surgery websites nationally, including most of those across Gloucestershire.
Technical teams are working hard to fix the issues as quickly as possible. Whilst they do this, to ensure the safety of clinical systems, they have temporarily closed most practice websites.

If you need to contact your GP surgery urgently, please either phone or visit your surgery.

In the NHS app, you can see messages from your health care providers to make sure you get a notification when you have received a new message in your inbox. If these are unread after 60 minutes, it will fall back to sending via SMS.

Your notification settings need to be turned on in your phone.

To do this, go to your account and select Settings.

Then select Manage Notifications.

Select go to Device Settings.

Select Allow notifications.

Once you've enabled notifications on your device, you need to reopen the NHS app.

Doing this confirms that you have registered to receive notifications.
