Brendoncare Meadway has been specifically designed to enable people in later life to live independent, happy and fulfilling lives. Brendoncare Meadway is a CQC 'Good' rated home with a carehome.co.uk rating of 9/10. With multiple communal areas, Brendoncare Meadway is a happy and comfortable home with kind and compassionate staff dedicated improving the lives and well-being of people in later life.

🌸🌞 Spring has sprung at Meadway.

Today our residents made the most of the beautiful sunshine. Some enjoyed sitting outside, soaking up the fresh spring air, while others relaxed by the open door, feeling the warmth of the sun and listening to the cheerful sounds of the season.

There’s nothing quite like a little sunshine to lift the spirits and bring smiles all around. Here’s to brighter days and many more moments like these!

This week we celebrated the wonderful care and innovation seen across Brendoncare at the Brendoncare Awards, and Meadway truly came out shining!

Not one, but TWO winners from our fantastic team.

Jacqui and her team won the Catering Experience award, and our lovely volunteer Lester was named Volunteer of the Year.

Every category was incredibly competitive, with such amazing finalists across Brendoncare. To come home with two awards really highlights the dedication, compassion and teamwork that is shown across the home each and every day.

Our manager Danielle says, “This is such a proud moment for Meadway. These awards truly reflect the passion, commitment and heart our team brings every single day. I couldn’t be prouder of everyone.”

We are so incredibly proud of them all! 🎉

Meet Blackberry & Lemon 🐹💛

This afternoon, Helen brought in her two lovely guinea pigs for a special visit! Residents who wished to had the opportunity to hold them and enjoy some gentle cuddles.

Blackberry and Lemon were so calm and well behaved — absolute little stars! It was such a pleasure to see the smiles they brought to everyone’s faces.

Thank you, Helen, for sharing your gorgeous furry friends with us. We can’t wait to see them again!

We had the lovely Alison from Mojo with us this morning to celebrate Chinese New Year – the Year of the Fire Horse! 🐎🔥

It was a wonderful, creative session filled with colour and joy. Everyone got involved, painting beautiful flowers, vibrant lanterns, and majestic horses. We were especially proud that one of our talented residents painted their very own horse too! 🎨🌸

Such a fantastic way to welcome the New Year together – full of creativity, laughter and community spirit. ❤️✨

Last night we joined the Brendoncare online Virtual Voice session and had a fantastic time. There was plenty of singing, including some songs the residents hadn't heard before, plus a quiz, which we did very well on.
Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We would definitely recommend getting involved.
