Meadway is looking spooktacular — the decorations are up, the pumpkins have been beautifully decorated, and our talented chef Sue has baked a fang-tastic Halloween cake! 🍰🕸️

We are happy to announce that Jacqui has been selected as a regional finalist for the Great British Care Awards in the Care Home Cook / Head Chef category!
Jacqui has consistently gone above and beyond in her role, creating delicious, nutritious meals that truly make a difference in the lives of our residents. With her person centred approach, she has worked closely with individuals needing support to regain or maintain a healthy weight, developing and implementing innovative IDDSI compliant meals tailored to their needs. Through her passion and leadership, Jacqui has inspired her team to deliver exceptional results, enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of everyone in our care.
We are so proud of her at Meadway, and whatever the outcome, Jacqui is already our winner! We’ll find out on November 14th if she has been successful at the regional awards show in Brighton, and we’ll be cheering her on every step of the way!

⚽ There was lots of happy noise in the home this morning — and that could only mean one thing… Laura from Rise Life Wi******er and Southampton was here! 🎉

This time, she brought Josh along to help, and together they had everyone playing a fun game of football. The residents showed off their different skills and strengths, and most importantly, everyone had a fantastic time.
