Brendoncare St Giles View is a new care home in our home city of Wi******er, which provides 60 purpose built ensuite residential, nursing and dementia bedrooms, as well as a café/restaurant, hair and beauty salon and community spaces.

Michelle came to Sing , bringing Christmas Hats 🥳and instruments 🪇 for us to join in. Some took to the floor and danced too💃🕺. Smiles, singing and laughter on a wet and windy afternoon ❤️

🌺 Poppy Craft & Dancing – A Beautiful start to mark Remembrance 🌺

What a wonderful session we’ve had this week, filled with creativity, reflection, and joy. ❤️

Our poppy craft activity inspired some truly lovely creations — each one a heartfelt tribute of remembrance.

Then, we moved together in dance.

It was a special way to come together, to remember, and to honour those who served.

🎃💃🕺 Halloween & dancing at SGV! 🕺💃🎃

What an incredible afternoon! 👻 SGV was alive with music, laughter, and dancing as everyone showed off their best dance moves. 🪩🧛‍♀️ From spooky tunes to classic hits, the dance floor never stopped!

We did it! There has been much to celebrate here at St Giles View - our second birthday last week and achieving a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the regulator of health and adult social care in England

It is down to the amazing team at St Giles View who work tirelessly to ensure our residents are safe and fully supported at all times.

We are extremely proud to have achieved this rating so it's a thumbs up from all of us!

Happy 2nd birthday to Brendoncare St Giles View! Our planned party turned into a double celebration when we heard we had been given a 'Good' rating by the CQC (Care Quality Commission), the organisation that regulates all health and social care services in England.

We were also delighted to welcome along Wi******er's Deputy Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Jamie and Mrs Wendy Scott, their second visit to us in as many months.

They were happy to toast the birthday and the success of St Giles View with our manager, Seva and Brendoncare's Chief Executive Michael Crutchley.

The magnificent cake was made by our fantastic catering team, including Nick and Lynsey pictured here. Our lovely resident Alan cut the cake with Seva.

With a musical accompaniment, it was a magical afternoon for everyone. We were so thrilled to see so many family members, Brendoncare Trustees and colleagues coming to join us for our special celebration.

Join us for an introduction with our Dementia Nurse Specialist, Sean Daly, our Head of Nursing and Dementia Care, Lyn Sheldrake and our General Manager, Seva Hashimova.

These sessions are a chance to ask questions, get advice, and find support if you're supporting someone living with dementia. Whether you’re looking for practical tips or just want to talk, you’re very welcome.
