🌞What a decade it’s been. It wasn’t what I expected…life, of course, had other ideas.

🌞I am a very different version of myself (one I never imagine emerging into) and am grateful for endless lessons learned from navigating all the wild stuff that’s been thrown into the last 10 years.

🌞I’ll share more soon but for now I’m going to let myself soak it all up and watch on joyfully as my beautiful daughter celebrates her 10th lap around the sun. My heart feels very full.❤️

It’s very easy to tell ourselves that it’s not good enough - it doesn’t count. That we’re not doing it like we’re ’supposed’ to. Because ‘they’ say we should be doing it differently. Well I say that’s not the case!

There are many versions of a yoga practice, mindfulness, spirituality, connection and awareness. Whatever you choose to call it or however you perceive it. And it doesn’t take rolling out your mat for an hour a day to qualify as yoga!

Small steps lead to big changes and I think we should each take a moment to honour our own interpretation of yoga and our daily practice - the values of this incredibly discipline and the unique way in which we allow it to ripple far beyond a yoga mat ###

As we shift gently away from winter and hopefully replace endless grey skies with more sunshine, March invites something different from January’s stillness or February’s endurance… I have definitely felt every part of that word this year!

And this sea swim a few days ago was just the tonic I needed to shake me from my February funk! I danced around the beach afterwards (very tolerant husband watching on!) and ended up getting back in for second dip! But goodness it was cold… I wished i’d been bothered to get my boots and gloves out the car!

Here’s a little glimpse into what we’ll be exploring on the mat in March:

🌱Slightly more dynamic, breath-led flow for our Monday Hatha class.

🌱Spinal mobility to create space and lightness as the body opens in our Yin class.

🌱Solar plexus awakening - nurturing confidence and steady energy.

🌱Movement that energises without depletion.

We’ll be hosting our very first Instagram Live with Deborah from - we’ll be exploring the connection between stress, skin, and the nervous system. It will take place on Monday 2 March at 7pm.

Our yoga sanctuary is ready and waiting for you! Sun-drenched, slow, soulful - a space to simply land.

The transformation I didn’t realise the studio needed has happened! I always had a feeling white wasn’t right but didn’t have the headspace to sort it and then a problem with the floor led to the discovery of a leak, led to a total glow up! I wanted terracotta right from the start but gentle soft vibes to match those we embrace in our practice. As always, I can’t wait to share the studio with YOU because that’s what makes it such a special space.

Hope you find it as soothing as we do! Just need a few more hanging plants… that’s my project for the weekend!🪴🌱🧡🫒🧘

When did you last spend 2 hours doing absolutely nothing! No doomscrolling… or bloomscrollong (think that’s the latest one) but just lying on a big fluffy bed listening to waves rolling in and out. I’m going to make a correction… this definitely doesn’t count as ‘doing nothing’ because I’ve probably just given my nervous system the most wonderful recharge! I can feel it - permeating through every cell of my being. A feeling of calm and quiet.

Look after yourself folks… i mean really look after yourself. I was late to the party in life and it took me ages to learn to truly love myself enough to do lovely things like this!

Sending all the self care vibes your way and if you need it then I give you permission to book yourself a night away! GUILT FREE! ❤️

My story is unique to me but having a story is not unique. We all have our story. We’ve all experienced light and dark, and life will continue to unfurl this way. This is why we need supportive practices such as yoga and meditation, to help us sit with ourselves through it all and regulate the nervous system.

I hope you take time to reflect on your stories and how they’ve shaped you. It’s so important not to keep speeding through life to the next thing but to pause and notice where you’re come from and where you are right now.
