Hello all!

We know it is a little early for Christmas festivities BUT in preparation for our Christmas lights switch on at the end of this month, we are reaching out to all of you lovely people asking for any donations of Christmas decorations and lights you may have that you no longer use or need. We would also like to invite you to join us in decorating our lovely home.

We want Tegfield House to feel as magical with the Christmas spirit as we can this year!

We had our first visit from the lovely Daria Asaftei Massage Therapist this morning. Many of our residents were treated to their choice of either an Indian head and shoulder, foot or hand massage. The lounge in our extension was filled with sunshine, peppermint and lavender scents and relaxing meditation music.

Cards night at Tegfield this evening, a nice moment to unwind. Joan dealt the cards and showed us how it's done. Snap!

Today we took a trip to Brambridge garden centre, looked at Christmas decorations, their clothes selection and finished it off with coffee and cake.

Happy bonfire night everyone! We had such a fabulous themed day with recycled firework crafts, Guy Fawkes quiz and a spectacular fireworks display in the garden which we watched from the conservatory.

A big thank you to Tim for running the firework show. Goodness, gracious great balls of fire!

We had a good knit and natter this morning. John knitted his first ever row and Phyllis brought her ever growing pile of squares along to show us. What a nice way to relax and spend our morning.

Boys trip to the pub this afternoon went down a treat. Our two John's and Ken caught up over a pint down at our local. A good way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.

Thank you Charlotte Millichamp Vocalist for such a wonderful musical morning. Lots of us sang, some danced and all of us enjoyed tapping our toes to music that brought back many special memories.
