The last 2 days(Thursday and Friday) , I had the pleasure and the honour to spend some time with the legend in Implant Dentistry that is called Mauricio Araujo (.dr ). Dr Araujo was a guest of Purgo Biologics Europe ( , )and we had the pleasure to have him in London. On Thursday afternoon he delivered a lecture at the Royal London Dental Hospital for the Periodontics department (.jenifferperussolo ) and on Friday, he was lecturing for the whole day at an event organised by . A case i treated recently - started with extraction of the molars and a biopsy - nothing exciting - just tooth related lesions. Six weeks later re-entry , enucleationand grafting using Purgo The Graft mixed wit PRF and Purgo The Cover Collagen Membrane. Four months later, re-entry and osteotomies for implant placement.

Back home and recovering from an almost week long trip......First stop: Barcelona, attending a cadaver course organised by Southern Implants, with Dr Rolf Bettens teaching his Pterygoid Implant technique and Dr Costas Nicolopoulos teaching Zygomatic Implants. It was great to learn Rolf’s well structured Pterygoid Implant technique and confirm also that my Zygo technique is very similar to Costa’s. Amazing event organised by Southern Implants!
Next stop: Skopje, where I lectured at their National Implantology Conference. Great event and hospitality from the organisers!
