Pat and Rosemary, who deliver our staff induction at The Princess Margaret Hospital do a terrific job in ensuring attendees feel valued throughout the morning.

During the session they help new starters to understand key values and principles of Circle Health Group.

Takeaway tip: before delivering abdominal thrusts or back slaps, ask a choking person if they can cough. The air in their lungs will be much stronger than any external force and can avoid further injury (if they are able).

At 11am today, the Princess Margaret Hospital fell into silence. As our team members stood side-by-side, they put their thoughts to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
We sincerely thank all of our patients who joined us in this time to remember.

Last week, we opened the doors of our Paediatric Unit for a fun-filled ‘Teddy Bear Tour’, welcoming parents and children for a morning of smiles and activities!

From Little Movers fitness sessions to Teddy Bear First Aid (where plenty of cuddly friends got their bandages!), there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Parents from the local community had the chance to explore our Paediatric Unit and chat with Dr Haddad, Consultant Paediatrician, who was on hand to answer all their child-related questions.

And of course, a special visit from Leon the Lion made the day even more exciting as he handed out some surprise goodies! 🎁🦁

A huge thank you to our wonderful Paediatric team and everyone who helped make this event such a success! 💙

Last week, we hosted an informative an engaging session focused on the common topic of navigating hip pain.

Led by Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Rakesh Kucheria, the evening provided attendees with valuable insights and information on the latest advancements in robotic-assisted surgery and the essential role of physiotherapy both before and after surgery.

We were delighted to welcome everyone who attended and were thrilled to hear how helpful they found the session in understanding their own hip pain.

A big thank you to Mr Kucheria and Louise, our Physiotherapy Clinical Services Manager for hosting the session and sharing their expertise.

We’re proud to offer events like these to support our community in making informed decisions about their health.
