With all the news focussing on the new white paper, we thought we would try and spread some happiness and offer something amazing and affordable to our local area.

One of our team, who have been with us for a while and has lived experience of ND, is now an OT Apprentice, and as a result we have the opportunity to offer more affordable OT from now until April 17th.

Let's celebrate our strengths and understand ourselves and use that information to enable us to climb higher heights and do what WE really want to do.

Details below, email me for a chat and we can set something up. This will only be in Windsor, Maidenhead, Bracknell and close surrounding areas.

I hope this is useful for some families.

Sharon :)

πŸŒΈπŸŒ™ Ramadan Mubarak from Laura Cares Domiciliary Care Agency πŸŒ™πŸŒΈ

As we welcome the holy month of Ramadan, all of us at Laura Cares would like to send our heartfelt wishes to our colleagues, service users, families, and the wider community observing this special time.

Ramadan is a beautiful period of reflection, compassion, generosity, and unity β€” values that are at the heart of everything we do. Just like our signature pink brand represents warmth, kindness, and care, this month reminds us of the importance of supporting one another and strengthening our community.

From 18th February 2026, we will be proudly supporting our staff who are observing Ramadan, ensuring they feel respected, valued, and empowered while continuing to provide the outstanding care our service users rely on. We are honoured to stand beside our team as they celebrate this meaningful time.

May this Ramadan bring peace, blessings, and good health to you and your loved ones.
Thank you for being part of our caring, compassionate community.

✨ With warm wishes and kindness β€” Ramadan Mubarak from all at Laura Cares. ✨

Just a quick reminder that we have some incredible opportunities happening for families over the next two days.
Friday 30th January - 9.30am-11.30am - It's our regular Ladybirds playgroup and in this special session we have two professional Paediatric volunteer Therapists: Physiotherapist Lauren Nash and Occupational Therapist Sharon Wignall.

NO NEED to book - just drop in anytime during the morning for a coffee and a chat (even if the kids are at school; come and meet these amazing therapists and get their support and guidance!)

Lauren will then see our BftF Plus young people for physio sessions from 12pm - if you haven't booked in yet, please email: admin@bftf.org.uk

Then on Saturday 31st January from 11am we have a drop-in family group for children and young people with physical disabilities. This is a new-style support group that will be monthly and is proving popular already! We're really looking forward to welcoming you all to Our House, Toutley Road, Wokingham RG41 1QN.

Thanks to Lauren and Sharon and to all our amazing volunteers who support our charity and provide incredible services to families with disabled children.
