As the rising wave of horse consciousness spreads through the planet as it has been prophesized to do and was inevitable, one of the directions I hear horses calling us into is deep into our humanity.
What does this mean?
It means remembering the power of our feeling nature, embodying the elements as pertains to a balanced emotional field, listening to our hearts and asking what creates safety for truth to emanate out from us in a healthy, loving, and giving way.
At a time when horses are being seen and recognized as the spiritual beings they are, the message for us to honor our humanity is a profound gateway into the passage of connection between our two species.
Returning to our humanity is one of the most humble things that we can do.
Any of us who are connected to horses will have felt, to varying degrees, the immense fortitude of their heart field, of their creative presence. A presence which catalyzes awakening.
What if following their guidance and resting in our humanity, thriving in our humanity, expanding through emotional intelligence meant catalyzing for each other, an awakening, which inevitably returns us to into interconnectedness. To them, to us, as one.
I've learned over the years to listen to the herd as closely as I would listen to a beloved and revered teacher. I've learned that when they point the arrow inward our only job is to act wisely and follow.

'A grammar of animacy could lead us to a whole new way of living in the world. A world with a democracy of species, not a tyranny of one. With moral responsibility to water and wolves, and with a legal system that recognizes the standing of other species.
Imagine walking through a richly inhabited world of birch people, bear people, cedar people, rock people. Beings we think of and therefore speak of as 'persons' worthy of our respect, of inclusion in a people's world. Imagine the acces we would have to different perspectives, the things we might see through other's eyes, the wisdom that surrounds us.
We dont have to figure out everything by ourselves. There are intelligences other than our own, teachers all around us. Imagine how much less lonely the world would be.
If we are to survive here, and our neighbours to, our work is to learn to speak the grammar of animacy. So that we might truly be at home.'

One of the biggest strains on my heart this year has been witnessing the changes Olympia has been through. She lost a lot of weight earlier in the year and had some major dental work done which, if you've been following me for a while or listened to my Pod with you'll know how impactful dentistry is on EVERY part of the body. Back in April (after the dental work) was when she started to drop.
Olympia is one of the most stoic, responsible, and purposeful mares I have ever met. She takes her role here on earth very seriously, in such an embodied way. I wondered whether she would transition this year but she shared, right before we moved, that she has more work to do and more energy to bring through for the planet. 'More life,' she said.
Now we are living together again I have been giving her regular soft tissue treatments alongside Craniosacral. In addition and as always, she gets to decide how she takes in the healing and I am so happy to be able to observe her in that process every day.
Caring for horses is MASSIVELY multi-layered, there is never one story or one way. In fact, deep and true care is circular, intrinsically holistic, reflective, and often deeply revealing.
As the Matriarch in the Herd, and in my every day life too :-), Olympia's journey is to continue for now...and I am sure, in her direct, samurai way, she will guide all of us through the depths of what is to come.

Why I adore and advocate for Craniosacral Therapy.
First of all because it is an incredibly powerful and subtle divinely infused badass modality.
Secondly, because I love being in the Craniosacral field. I believe this particular field of healing is present at all times, waiting to reveal itself to us when we learn to place our attention and focus onto or into it.
Healing happens when we make space for it.
This means healing is ALWAYS possible, waiting for our awareness to expand enough to make space for its outcome.
Of course there are circumstances when it is time for the physical body to transition onto its next phase. However, even then, the circle and arrow of healing spins its way into life, coming into full focus right when we are ready.
Equine Craniosacral is a modality whose effect within the energy field we are in is palpable. One moment we are dancing, then we are still, then we are tentatively taking steps to choreograph to a new rhythm.
This rhythm is a backbone of the systems we inhabit physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. With Craniosacral we are ‘waiting for our mud to settle’ as Lao Tzu says.
We are making space for the Ultimate to step forward, to dance with us. Having said this, Craniosacral does infuses acute, intutive awareness with precise techniques. Techniques we need to be 100% in our deep listening and presence for. Aka..accessing the field.

🦄 Remembering that the only ‘thing’ between you and God/ Source / Creator / Creatrix is YOU. The way is always open.
🦄 Showing up for ALL other beings without an agenda, truly. Agenda-less-ness is a nuanced yet revolutionary offering.
🦄 Listening to the voice of presence more than ANY other voice, anytime, anywhere. This is the voice of your heart, the heart in any space. Can you be brave enough to listen to your heart in a loud world?

A classic and very horse infused reminder of one of the fundamental reasons we are here, to return to presence.
Never before have there been as many worldwide requirements for us to communicate our sense of who we are to one another to help ourselves come into the light of awareness.
Presence is the surrender into the soul which holds us, orchestrating acceptance and desire through a cunning interpretation of unity.
Inevitability, a foundational principle of being here, now.
Horses usher us into inevitability through spiralling us into the depth of presence we are asking for, even when we don’t realise it… we are asking.

Many people I speak to mention that they are afraid of Tarot cards (when I refer to the Tarot here I am talking about the Original Rider Waite deck), some people feel afraid of the images or the unknown aspect of what they represent which is, in essence, us!
The Tarot is a tool for divination, divination is the art of receiving knowledge through ‘supernatural’ means, and YOU are a supernatural being! The Tarot reveals what we already know, there is no space between us and it and us and our next step, only a perceived distance created by the mind which means all our next steps, our past choices, our potential outcomes are blended into the version of us we are expressing in this moment.
The Tarot is a bridge to awakening that realisation.
You are an antennae of consciousness. NOTHING ESCAPES YOU, it only seems to. That is the beauty of working with the cards, the veil of that illusion lifts and YOU are revealed.
The Tarot is a collective conscious, which means it was created and sustained by a collective of beings who are also part of the greater collective consciousness which we are all plugged into. Each way we look at it the Tarot represents us, the journey we go through, and the experiences we have of life. When we sing a mantra which has been sung by thousands if not millions of people we are plugging (our antennae self) into the consciousness of that mantra and the depth of intention within it, we are working with that specific collective conscious and creative expression of the self because nothing is not an expression of the self.
Whilst I understand the fear I am also sharing a perspective that fear is part of the game of life we have chosen as souls, depending on your belief system, and we are all here to participate in and play the game of life to the best of our ability and with as much conscious awareness as possible.
Therefore, working with tools such as the tarot to help bridge our awareness from the unconscious to the conscious and to help reconnect us with our deep knowing is one way to play the game.

What is Equine Craniosacral Therapy?
The healing modality (Equine) Craniosacral Therapy is a closely related to Osteopathy. With a primary focus on the 'core link' in the body, encompassing the Cranium (head) and Pelvis through the connective presence of the spinal chord practitioners work with extremely light hands on techniques to engage their focus with the 'Craniosacral System' of the body. The practitioner of Equine Craniosacral Therapy is called to work intimately with his/ her own intention. Partnering anatomicaly knowledge with the lanaguage of the body in a way which optimisez freedom on motion and balance throughout.
Domesticated horses, especially those in work, are regularly exposed to a variety of external influences which can cause the body to come out of alignment. On a daily basis we see causes such as: ill fitting tack, pull backs, improper feeding height, bad dentistry, falls, accidents in the trailer / lorry / field etc, injuries from contact during competition (especially in Polo, Show Jumping, Cross country). The simple application of bit pressure upon the Mandible (jaw) has a direct impact on the rest of the body! In Craniosacral Work we honour the fact that all bodily structures are deeply connected. The relationship between each bone in the Cranium, between the Cranium and Pelvis, the ribs, diaphragm, sternum, spine, and the list goes on. What this means is that when one part of the body, and with horses A LOT of this circles around the cranium, is out of balance, there will be other conjoining parts which are also out due to their immediate compensatory relationship with the original trauma.
The Cranium, as robust as it may look, is actually an extremely sensitive mechanism. Cranial 'sutures' act as joints between articulating (touching) bones creating a scene of mobility in what we think would be static. I love to think of each bone having it's own voice, it's own reason for existing. The Equine Craniosacral Practitioner is taught to look upon every part of the body as having it's own dance. We observe and connect to this dance whilst working WITH it's movement to bring harmony.
What is Reiki:
Every body of life on this planet contains various centres of energy called ‘Chakras’ within which represent different emotion, mental, physical, spiritual, and healing aspects of our entire being. Physical alignment within the body exists in unison with the alignment of these Chakras.
It is said that before the physical body (of any species) comes into existence or form, the Chakras are the primary filters of energetic information which calibrate the body into being. This alone shows the outstanding importance of making sure that our Horse's Chakras are in as much balance and alignment as possible.
The word Chakra translates as 'Wheel or Turn', this is exactly how they exist, in CONSISTENT movement spinning around themselves. When your Horse's chakras become unbalanced the rate / quality of their movement is significantly effected. The Chakras also represent the emotional and mental state of the Horse. Everything in the body is connected, therefore if there is a physical issue effecting a certain Chakra - the emotions connected with that Chakra will also display themselves.
The Reiki practitioner is said to channel Universal Energy out through the hands and into the body of the Horse. As much as this Universal or 'Pure Light' energy can be perceived as 'outside' ourselves, it is the inward intention or focus of the practitioner which is also of equal importance and plays a vital role in the effectiveness of the session. Therefore the Reiki practitioner learns how to channel this energy whilst also holding a deep healing space within for the energy to pass through for the benefit of the horse.
