🌟 PRICE INCREASE 🌟

Effective from 30.11.2025

Due to an increase in my business running costs, including insurance and my booking platform (which is where I securely hold all your details and apt notes in line with GDPR), I am going to have to increase my prices slightly.

I was hoping to hold out until after Christmas but these increases as well as other running costs mean I'll be losing out and whilst I really do love my job, I do need to make it a viable business.

I know you guys will be understanding - you always are ❤️ and that I don't need to justify the increases but I am still competitive for my skill and knowledge level ❤️

So over the next 12 months I'm going to be asking clients and friends to help me out ...

My farrier and his sister are doing something, not just a small thing, they are taking on THE WORLDS TOUGHEST ROW!

They will row 3000 miles across the Atlantic ocean 😱

I know Louis has been training ridiculously hard so far, as well as still seeing to his equine clients and keeping up with familial/social obligations - but of a legend really!

Just for context - they'll row approximately 1.5 million strokes, they'll burn around 5000 calories a day and they'll face waves up to 20ft high.

They have a lot of funds to generate so any donations, big or small will be incredible and will go towards their entry fees, boat costs, food whilst out there and charitable donations.

The race costs around £100k so they've got a lot of money to find to take part. Once the race is complete the kit and equipment will be sold and all monies given to charity.

The two charities you'd be supporting in helping are Royal National Lifeboat Institution and Alzheimer’s Research UK

The Ick 😖

We've all had it right?

Well in business I've been super lucky to not have clients that give me the ick.

Until recently...

In the last 3 months I've had two male clients that have been really rude and inappropriate.

Thankfully I am who I am, I finished the treatment, they left and that was that. I've managed to avoid them since.

I appreciate it's not always men, I've had some women that I've not seen eye to eye with but I've never had the worry of being groped with them.

However it really has made me think about what goes through people's minds, that makes them think it's right to speak to people and make suggestive comments to someone you've just met (not that it's ok any time).

99% of my clients are incredible, I appreciate you and genuinely look forward to seeing you/hearing about what you've been up to, hearing your war stories and just generally chit chatting.

For those of you that behave in this way though, you know who you are. In the words of Joey Swoll "You need to do better"

I'm also not being a wet lettuce, I'm not being dramatic or daft. This has genuinely annoyed me that people think this is acceptable in any situation.

Please be respectful of any person you have interactions with.

Also, this is my ick face 👀🤣
