Winsford Community Partnership

Winsford Community Partnership The reasons behind this are many but we face different problems today than in the past.

Winsford Community Partnership is a collaboration between local residents, organisations, and services working together to create positive, lasting change, particularly in areas like health, promoting healthier lifestyles and improving access to services. Winsford Care Community includes the local GP network, the wider primary care team, Social Care, Public Health, Education, Town Planners, Local Employers, Third Sector, Local Sports Groups, Parish Councils and of course the Community itself. The idea of the Care Community is to arrange care, interventions and provide innovative health solutions in partnership with the local community that suit the needs of a whole population and takes the views of all these stakeholders into account. An ageing population and increasingly complex care needs mean that single entities and indeed healthcare teams alone cannot solve all the problems we face. We will work in partnership to deliver not only a Care Community but a community that cares.

As a parent, seeing your child go through bullying can be heartbreaking. You want to protect them, build their confidence and help them feel they belong, yet it can be hard to know where to start.

Anti Bullying Week is a time to shine a light on the impact bullying can have on children and families. It can affect a child’s confidence, emotional wellbeing and home life, leaving children feeling unsure of themselves and parents feeling worried or powerless.

Home Start offers a listening ear and practical support for parents, helping them build confidence and a sense of belonging for their children at home and in the community.

This week, let us encourage kindness, inclusion and the small actions that help children feel secure and valued.
