Winsford Community Partnership

Winsford Community Partnership The reasons behind this are many but we face different problems today than in the past.

Winsford Community Partnership is a collaboration between local residents, organisations, and services working together to create positive, lasting change, particularly in areas like health, promoting healthier lifestyles and improving access to services. Winsford Care Community includes the local GP network, the wider primary care team, Social Care, Public Health, Education, Town Planners, Local Employers, Third Sector, Local Sports Groups, Parish Councils and of course the Community itself. The idea of the Care Community is to arrange care, interventions and provide innovative health solutions in partnership with the local community that suit the needs of a whole population and takes the views of all these stakeholders into account. An ageing population and increasingly complex care needs mean that single entities and indeed healthcare teams alone cannot solve all the problems we face. We will work in partnership to deliver not only a Care Community but a community that cares.

So, if you support a friend, neighbour or family member with daily tasks come along to see the support on offer. Our upcoming Unpaid Carer Drop In Session offers a welcoming space for residents to explore what support is available and talk to our team. If you are unable to attend the drop in but would like to know more about the support available for unpaid carers, you can contact Cheshire West Unpaid Carer Service, Better Together for Carers and the Community for information and guidance. https://cwac.co/2elQ9 If you are an unpaid carer who would like to share your experience to help inform the development of future services and support, but cannot attend the drop in, you can email: engagement@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk

This week is an opportunity to share what support looks like from a listening ear through our Specialist Counselling to advocacy through our Independent Sexual Violence Advisor service.
