Winsford Community Partnership

Winsford Community Partnership The reasons behind this are many but we face different problems today than in the past.

Winsford Community Partnership is a collaboration between local residents, organisations, and services working together to create positive, lasting change, particularly in areas like health, promoting healthier lifestyles and improving access to services. Winsford Care Community includes the local GP network, the wider primary care team, Social Care, Public Health, Education, Town Planners, Local

Employers, Third Sector, Local Sports Groups, Parish Councils and of course the Community itself. The idea of the Care Community is to arrange care, interventions and provide innovative health solutions in partnership with the local community that suit the needs of a whole population and takes the views of all these stakeholders into account. An ageing population and increasingly complex care needs mean that single entities and indeed healthcare teams alone cannot solve all the problems we face. We will work in partnership to deliver not only a Care Community but a community that cares.

Have you checked your blood pressure?

As many as 5 million adults in the UK have undiagnosed high blood pressure and aren't aware that they’re at risk. The only way to know whether you have high blood pressure is to have it measured.

You can get your blood pressure checked at:

💗 Do you know your breasts? 💗
Being familiar with your breasts and knowing how to check them is really important. Breast screening saves lives, and many women in Winsford will soon be invited for breast screening.
Women aged 50 and over are invited for a mammogram every 3 years until their 71st birthday. You might not receive your first invitation in the year you turn 50, but you should be called by the time you’re 53.
🎥 This video was taken at our recent Health & Wellbeing Event, where Sarah demonstrates how to examine your breasts and what changes to look out for, thank you for sharing Central Cheshire Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership
If you notice anything that doesn’t feel right for you, don’t wait for screening – speak to your GP.
