Whilst sat reading or watching television, keep cosy with a nice soft throw or blanket. Small heated blankets are available too ! I use a heated blanket for clients during Reflexology in the colder months.....so lovely and relaxing πŸ™

If you would normally think of the darker nights as sad or gloomy, change your mindset  and try thinking of them as cosy...

Winter Shows Us How to Pause

There are times when we all need to slow down, to pause.
Winter shows us how to do this well.
In winter, the world softens;
trees, bare and patient,
hold meaning in their emptiness.

We, too, remember how to sit silently,
how to listen,
how to be still.

Even the smallest creatures follow quiet rhythms,
slowing down,
resting,
hibernating.

Time loosens.
Breath becomes visible.
Steps become meditation.
Silence lingers in the hush
between moments,
between footsteps,
between heartbeats.

In that hush, we meet ourselves,
no longer running,
no longer demanding more than the moment gives.

Slowing down is not retreat.
It is nourishment,
a chance to stand still,
to notice light,
movement,
the gentle turning of time.

Stillness is not empty;
it is life,
unfolding
slowly,
softly,
patiently.

WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a gentle non-invasive holistic therapy that encourages the body to re-balance and heal itself, and is suitable for all.

The therapist applies finger and thumb pressure to β€œreflex points” on the feet. These mirror organs and structures within the body, promoting parasympathetic responses in the body, easing anxiety, helping with sleep and promoting healing.

Reflexology is and ancient therapy practised in Egypt China and India and as far back as 2330BC.
