"I am very pleased with the care that my Brother is getting now! He is a part of the home and the staff now know him. He goes out on visits. He is now a part of the staff. He is encouraged to take on various tasks to keep him feeling wanted. He goes out on various visits to the seaside or to coffee shops.His room is tidy, he has a shower now every day! All in all, he is well looked after. I can now relax!"

We had a brilliant day out at The Deep in Hull.
The residents had so much fun seeing all the amazing sea life, followed by some lunch.
We are looking forward to our next trip out on Prime Life Coach Trips!

Debbie the manager here at Gilby House received this amazing praise about two staff.

"I felt I should give some positive feedback on my visit today to assess SB and PW. The welcome I received at such an early time 08:30 was lovely. C asked if I wanted a hot drink. It was so nice, she made me another. Sarah S spoke to me in the office and what a lovely approach she has. Nurse Sarah A supported the two people with their capacity assessments and was very helpful in explaining things to SB and providing me with information.

I found the care plans to be concise, yet with clear information and the fact the risk assessments were next to each care plan was a real bonus. You have set the bar high for my next visit."

Well done to both Sarah S and Sarah A, this is beautiful feedback and well done for doing such an amazing job!

"This home is brilliant. Two members of staff are the best in how wide would I love what they do for me. I am grateful especially when the dogs come in, I love them. As well, the home is nice/clean/tidy. I like when staff take me out, love it. Love to spend time with staff, especially two members in particular..”
