March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

Nearly 2% of our patients are living with endometriosis and that’s only those with a confirmed diagnosis. We know many more may be experiencing symptoms without answers.

Endometriosis can significantly impact daily life, and diagnosis is often delayed. Raising awareness helps people recognise symptoms sooner and seek the support they deserve.

This is what great men’s mental health should look like every day of the year… (not only when you are winners at Ashbourne Shrovetide)
💙Collaboration over competition
💙Support and cheerleading one another
💙Viewing each other with positive intent
💙Not making judgmental assumptions when you don’t know what’s going on in someone’s life
💙Saying well done and thank you more often: just noticing

High blood pressure is often called the “silent killer” because you can feel completely well while damage builds quietly in the background.

Left untreated, it increases the risk of stroke, heart attack, heart failure and kidney damage (including kidney failure). Take a look to learn more about BP and how you can keep yours well maintained through lifestyle measures.

❤️ February is Heart Month ❤️
It’s not just about Valentine’s Day. Now we have your attention… let’s talk about your real heart. 🫀

Heart Month is a reminder to take simple steps that can make a big difference to your health and to support the lifesaving work of the British Heart Foundation.

Here are a few ways to look after your heart:
• Stay active, even a brisk 30-minute walk helps 🚶‍♂️
• Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit, veg and wholegrains 🥦🍎
• Know your blood pressure and cholesterol numbers 📊
• Learn CPR, it could save a life ❤️‍🩹

Small changes today can protect your heart for years to come.
