Today is National LEGO Day 🧱

Grief can feel like life has fallen into pieces you never wanted to hold. Healing is a lot like building with LEGO, you don’t have to finish anything all at once. You start with one small piece, then another. Some days you build, some days you pause, and both are okay.

There’s no instruction manual for loss. If you’re missing someone today, be gentle with yourself.

Kerry visited Rose Lodge Care Home earlier today, where residents were treated to a very special visit from the March & District Railway Club.

They brought along a fantastic model replica of Fenland Yard, giving residents the chance to relive fond memories of yesteryear and share stories from times gone by.

With our unattended / direct funerals, your loved one will remain in our local care until the day of the funeral. We also offer the opportunity for family and friends to spend time with their loved one in our private chapel, should they wish.

✨ We also provide Unattended Funeral Plans for cremations, which can be arranged in advance for added peace of mind.

🎶 Celebrating Burns Night in Style! 🕺💃

We had a fantastic time attending a Burns Night celebration at Orchard House Care Home! 🎶💃🕺

The afternoon was filled with singing, dancing, and live music from HUG – Hereward Ukulele Group, with residents and guests (including Charlotte) joining in the fun.
There may not have been haggis, neeps & tatties or a wee dram of Scottish whisky on hand, but the spirit of Burns Night was alive in every note and every toe-tap! 🥳🎵

Laughter, music, and plenty of Scottish cheer made it a Burns Night Robert Burns himself would have been proud of! 💙
