Today, Charlotte celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Day by delivering cakes and sweet treats to the wonderful team at Janet and Jaynes Florists, 🍰🧁

Jayne and her amazing team work incredibly hard throughout the year creating and delivering beautiful floral tributes for our clients. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and on many occasions they’ve stepped in to help at the drop of a hat. Their dedication, care and compassion never go unnoticed. 🌷💐

🥞🎉 Happy Pancake Day! 🎉🥞

It’s time to flip, stack, and celebrate! 🥳 Whether you like yours classic with lemon & sugar or loaded with your favourite toppings, Pancake Day is the perfect excuse to indulge! 😍✨

Here’s a simple recipe to make your day extra delicious 👇

🛒 Ingredients:

✔️ 100g Plain Flour
✔️ 2 Large Eggs
✔️ 300ml Milk
✔️ 1 tbsp Sunflower or Vegetable Oil (plus extra for frying)
✔️ A pinch of salt
✔️ Lemon Juice or Wedges (to serve – optional) 🍋
✔️ Sugar or Caster Sugar (to serve – optional)

👩‍🍳 Let’s Get Flipping!

Step 1:
Add the plain flour, eggs, milk, oil, and a pinch of salt into a bowl or large jug. Whisk until smooth — the batter should be similar to single cream.

Step 2:
Let it rest for 30 minutes if you can (it helps make them even better!) — or get straight to cooking.

Step 3:
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and lightly wipe it with oiled kitchen paper.

Step 4:
Pour in about half a ladle of batter and cook for 1 minute on each side until golden. Keep your pancakes warm in a low oven while you cook the rest.

Step 5:
Serve with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of caster sugar 🍋✨ or get creative with your favourite fillings!
