The care home has en-suite bedrooms, a pub, a bistro cafe, a hair salon and a pamper suite. Care staff have built strong connections with the local community; residents enjoy participating in local events in and around Wisbech. Residents enjoy daily home-cooked meals presented to restaurant standards. The highly trained care team is available around the clock to provide personal care and support.

🌱🌼 Gardening Club Fun! 🌼🌱

Our wonderful residents have been getting their hands delightfully dirty in Gardening Club! 🌿🪴 They’ve been busy making their own compost and carefully planting seeds, all in preparation for the brighter days of spring. 🌸✨

There’s nothing better than a bit of teamwork and watching new life begin to grow. We can’t wait to see the beautiful blooms and greenery in the weeks ahead! 🌷🌻

Today was salon day and wow… don’t our ladies look absolutely fabulous! 💇‍♀️✨

Fresh hair, big smiles and that extra little sparkle of confidence that comes from being pampered. There’s nothing better than seeing them looking in the mirror and grinning from ear to ear.

This morning in the downstairs lounge it was eyes down for Bingo – and as always, it got very competitive! Lots of concentration, a few cheeky calls of “house!” and plenty of laughs along the way. 🏆

We’ve also been carrying on our Chinese New Year activities. Residents have been busy colouring “The Year of the Horse” pictures and enjoying themed word searches. It’s been lovely chatting about what the year represents – strength, energy and good fortune – while getting creative.

A wonderful mix of fun, focus and a little friendly rivalry… just how we like it!

Eyes down for a full house....🎱✨

We had a ball at our afternoon Bingo session - from "Two Little Ducks" to "Dancing Queen" the residents were on fire.

We enjoyed a few games over a cuppa and a slice of cake. Huge congrats to our lucky winners who managed to get a full house and a prize to match. 🏆✨

Don’t you just love technology… when it decides not to cooperate! 🤦‍♀️ So here we go again…

This morning we enjoyed our armchair exercises, and what a session it was! From running on the spot (yes, we were speedy!) to gentle stretches and plenty of movement to get those muscles working. 💪

There were lots of smiles, a few giggles, and of course a bit of friendly competition about who could go the fastest! The residents absolutely love this activity – it’s such a lovely way to keep active, boost our mood, and start the day feeling energised.

Here’s to strong arms, happy hearts, and technology behaving itself next time! 😊

Oh what a fantastic afternoon we’ve had! 🤩

Our residents were absolutely marvellous at the quiz – I’m starting to think we need to make the questions much harder because they’re just too good! The knowledge in that room was incredible. 🧠✨

And then… it was time for karaoke! 🎤🎶
Out came the old pub classics, plenty of toe tapping, big smiles and a few very enthusiastic performances. Safe to say the room was full of laughter and wonderful voices (some louder than others! 😉).

What fun we all had together – afternoons like this are what it’s all about! 💛

This morning has been full of fun , to start of the day we had the lovely library van come and visit us , we chose out some lovely books for our residents who have not put the books down since !
Then followed by some Chinese new year crafts creating our lovely Chinese new year dragon and some perfect book marks ready for all of our new books !
