DK House had a special guest for dinner last week when Rory came for the afternoon! He enjoyed playing Connect4 with Sophie, who was kind enough to give him a choice of some of her Jigsaws to take home, all before everyone enjoyed a gorgeous chicken curry together!🥘

Over the weekend, Nicky added a further 5.65 miles to her 28 miles in 28 days, taking her up to just under 10 miles total so far. Nicky has been so excited to read everyone's messages and see all the donations. On behalf of all who have donated, thank you, we've now surpassed our original target significantly and are so very grateful! As a result, you might even see Nicky in her congratulatory cap from AUK next time!🧢

On Sunday, Nicky & Jodie took a trip up to Horsey Beach in Norfolk for a nice wander along the dunes and an opportunity for some seal spotting!

It was also a great opportunity for Nicky to get started on her 28 miles in 28 days fundraiser by walking an impressive 3.5 miles, and pushed her out of her comfort zone going up and down the stairs, and along the top line of the beach - what an amazing start Nicky!

On Friday afternoon, Carol made the most of the sunshine and enjoyed a wander at Hadleigh Country Park. Of course, no trip would have been complete without a quick trip to the cafe, for a hot drink and a bite to eat!☕🌳

On Saturday Nicky (with the continued support of Lemara & Cindy) took her mum out for walk to the local park to feed the ducks. Whilst it may seem like a small thing, it's an activity Nicky and her mum have long since enjoyed, that meant so very much to them both. 🦆🫶🏻

During the month of February, Nicky is taking on the 28 miles in 28 days challenge in aid of Alzheimers Research UK, inspired by her mum who is sadly battling the disease.
