Tingle Therapy! What is it and how does it work...
Tingle Therapy was designed with women in mind yet also very beneficial for men and children.

What is it?
It's a sensory treatment that mixes light pressure massage techniques, gentle tickles up and down the back/neck/shoulders and slow hair combing/playing.

How does it work?
Simply put...this treatment puts you into deep relaxation mode. If you're suffering with stress, anxiety, overthinking, tension, insomnia or pain (headaches/migraines) this may be the ideal treatment for you.
Tingle Therapy naturally settles the nervous system and brings balance, calm and peaceπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈπŸ§˜. Lowering your stress hormones by providing a feeling of safety. If you are constantly in fight or flight (survival mode) and are exhausted both physically and mentally, this treatment may just be a stepping stone in the right direction to a calmer state of mind. It will slow your brain activity to allow you more clarity and therefore you'll be able to function more efficiently and effectively. Muscle tension is psychological, the more stressed/on edge you are, the more tense you will feel in your body.

Who is this treatment for?
Everyone! Due to the gentle nature of the treatment, it's suitable for many health conditions, any age and any gender.

If this is something you may be interested in exploring, send me a message and I'll gladly give more information to help you decide whether this is the right treatment for you 😊 ❣️

For those who have never had a massage before....why not?

Quite a few of my now Clients had never had massage treatments before coming to me. I always assumed that everyone has had a massage at some point in their lives, whether it's for relaxation while on holiday or spa days etc...but nope, I was wrong πŸ˜†.
I'm intrigued to know what people love/hate about massage πŸ€”

Leg day for you, means leg day for me 🦡

You work hard on your body at the gym but do you treat your body to aftercare?
If you have good hydration, nutrition, adequate rest periods between sessions, you warm up, stretch and cool down but still suffer with muscle soreness...it's time to get booked in for a treatment.
A lot of back pain can stem from problems elsewhere in the body. Which is why it's important to treat legs, feet, hips and glutes aswell as your back. Postural chain massage is an amazing way to release tension in multiple areas of the body at once.
Benefits of this treatment-
Improves circulation, releases tension, reduces pain and inflammation, improves mobility, increases blood flow to affected areas and the stimulation creates a calming sensation throughout your body and mind. The more tense you feel, the more likely you are to feel pain!

Message me if you'd like more information 🫢

About me (AKA your soon to be Massage Therapist) -
I think it's important to actually introduce myself properly on this page. It's difficult trying to work out whether you can trust someone or see them as "human" through a phone/computer screen. So let's change that....
Hi, my names Leah. I'm 38 and I live in Witham.

Career and how this all started -
Last year I decided to totally change my career to Massage Therapy after going on my first solo holiday. While I was away I took a trip to the spa and booked myself a massage (it had been years since I last had one). After the massage I felt brand new and raring to go! Instead of relaxing me...it motivated me! That night, I sat on my balcony and researched massage treatments and the effects it has on your mind and body, it was at that moment I knew it was for me, I was obsessed. I booked a training course ready for my return to the UK.
I've always enjoyed helping people (whether it's physically or mentally). I had a 16 year career in health and social care doing various job roles (carer, supervisor, trainer and assessor). Stacking up qualifications along the way. I worked with amazing Health/Clinical care professionals and learned so much about different health conditions, how they effect people individually and as a whole. Helping people was my priority and I remained in that role (care and training practitioner) until the end of covid. I worked for Royal Mail (loved the people but hated the job) before deciding to do Massage full time.
I'm currently mid way through my level 3 sports massage Diploma (you can never have too many Diplomas fyi) and I hope to further my career as much as possible.

Interests/hobbies -
Up until the start of 2024 I was a Call of Duty addict, I used video games as a way to unwind after a hard day and blow off some steam. I even streamed on Facebook for a while before I had to move house. I think people came to watch me rage more than the actual game play itself! Although I don't play anymore, I still watch streams regularly.
I prefer staying in to going out and that's where Netflix comes in (currently watching Bridgeton) and will happily accept any recommendations 😁.
I love food and I mean LOOOOVE food. Just not mushrooms, get those things away from me. Anything sweet is my kryptonite!
I spend a lot of time with my Family, they are my favourite people.
Huge music lover...I listen to music for hours everyday, it keeps me sane.
I love Marvel, endgame is one of my favourite films and I dread to think how many times I've seen it. The same with Django unchained, I've seen that an unhealthy amount of times too.
HOLIDAYS!!! I love to travel.

Personality - πŸ€”
Down to earth, easy to talk to, great listener and an even better communicator. I'm funny sometimes I spose, easy going, I'm a little whirlwind (except for when I'm massaging of course). I can be fiery (only when provoked πŸ™‚) but ultimately I'm loveable and I always want to please/help. I'm also quirky and unique, which you'll see for yourself when you meet me.

Favourite quotes I stand by -
"Tidy house, tidy mind"
"If you look to the past, you will stay in the past"
"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"
"Lock in or get locked out"
"Don't ask, don't get"

It's a bit awkward talking about yourself I think, but in this sort of situation I think it's necessary!
Anyway, have an amazing day. DMs are open if you need me 🫢
