🎄✨ Celebrating Our Incredible Team ✨🎄

What an amazing year it's been at In Friendship! Last night we gathered for our Christmas meal to reflect, laugh, and celebrate together 🥂

This year we've welcomed some wonderful new faces to the team, reconnected with familiar ones, and most importantly, continued supporting our amazing clients throughout Oxfordshire. None of it would be possible without this incredible group of people – each one individual and unique in their own special way 🧡

As the saying goes, "The success of any party is measured not by what is served, but by who is invited." Looking around that table, we know we've got something truly special here.

Not everyone could join us on the night, but they were absolutely there in spirit – because this team is a family, wherever we are 🌟

🧡💙 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY 🧡💙

I cannot actually believe that we have hit the five-year mark!! What an adventure it has been and continues to be! From starting on my own to now being a team of 20, it’s an incredible achievement! We have moved from our conservatory, to Witney Innovation Centre and to our current office on Corn Street 🏢
We continue to do all that we can to make our clients the main focus and to empower them to stay as independent as possible.

John and I are forever thankful for all the employees that we have had and have, for all the shares on social media and for the recommendations too. Today is a very special day and although it can be very hard work, the clients that we support make it all worthwhile.

Here’s to the next 5 years!! 🥂

💙 Going the extra mile for our clients isn’t just what we say - it’s what we do every single day.

One of our wonderful clients has been struggling with foot pain that was keeping them housebound. After several shopping trips trying to find comfortable shoes with no success, our lovely Sarah refused to give up.

In a true Cinderella moment, she brought in her own old running trainers as a last resort - and they fit perfectly! 👟✨

Today, our client is back out and about, mobile and independent once again. Sometimes it’s the simplest gestures that make the biggest difference.

This is what care looks like - creativity, persistence, and going above and beyond because every client deserves to live their best life.

Our In Friendship Information Fair today at the Corn Exchange was an incredible success! From 10AM to 2PM, our community came together for a wonderful day of connections, information sharing, and support.

A huge thank you to our amazing team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this event to life. Your dedication, enthusiasm, and teamwork made all the difference in creating such a welcoming and informative experience for everyone who attended.

We’re incredibly grateful to all the fantastic providers and organisations who joined us today and made this event so valuable for our community.

The conversations, connections made, and information shared today will have a lasting impact. It was wonderful to see so many people discovering new services, getting valuable advice, and meeting their neighbors - plus everyone enjoyed our raffle prizes!

🤝 SUPPLIER SPOTLIGHT: Witney Foodbank 🤝

Sometimes life throws unexpected challenges our way. Witney and West Oxfordshire Food Bank believes that no one in our community should have to face going hungry. They provide three days' nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people referred to them in crisis.

How they support our community:

🍽 Emergency food parcels with nutritionally balanced meals
🍽 Support through local agency referrals (Citizens Advice, health visitors, social services)
🍽 Part of the nationwide Trussell Trust network
🍽 Addressing both immediate food needs and longer-term support
