Fun fact about running my small brick-and-mortar shop…

Our business rates have increased 331% in just 2.5 years.

Three hundred and thirty one.

Not rent.
Not energy.
Not stock.

Just the tax for existing on the high street.

Independent shops are constantly encouraged to “revive the high street”… while the cost of simply opening the door keeps rising.

If you value independent shops and high streets that aren’t just rows of empty units, this is a conversation we probably need to start having a lot louder.

Please share if you think small businesses deserve a fair chance.

Right, I'm gonna attempt to post some fun little tattoos I've done for the first time in ages. Been working on a lot of bigger projects, so I have repeatedly forgotten to properly post the little cuties I've been doing in between 😂 Hopefully I get back on track now the sun's coming back around, the extra dopamine and vitamin D has been overwhelmingly nice for my brain!

I won't be around Friday and and I shall be embarking on a London based adventure! (cue me absolutely bricking it in crowds and at city folk and Kayley getting to watch that)

We are currently booking for June, which is nuts. It's been quite overwhelming how supportive everyone has been to be honest and I'm truly grateful for everything! The projects that are coming up for me and the opportunities we are getting are really really cool. I can't wait for the rest of the year to unfold!

What plans are you guys most looking forward to this year? 😊

It was really fun to do this one. I always find it quite relaxing to do mandalas! Flowers are always a nice touch.
Here is a combo of roses and fresia, a pair of flowers with a lot of meaning! What flowers mean a lot to you guys?

Also, just a reminder that we still are doing our Raffle thingymajig in store until 14th Feb for £2 a ticket if you'd like a chance at grabbing a £300 tattoo sitting! We keep trying to come up with more new games and events for the rest of the year too, so keep watch of our pages for any weird things we get up to 🤣 From ghost hunting to shrimp farming, our skills are becoming pretty extensive.

Also, we've used all of the cutlery in the shop in place of screwdrivers for various ADHD projects, and now we only have one set of cutlery between us.... so feel free to tip us in butter knives and forks for a while! 😁

April is almost entirely booked up, and May seems to be filling fast, but I'll do me best to try and make it less of a wait where I can!

it's been pretty busy with our new baby rats, but I'll be catching up with messages shortly! I'm currently booking for late April/ early May, which is nuts, but I'm eternally grateful for everyone coming to visit and letting me tattoo them!

Conkers to represent each member in a family with a horse chestnut leaf! I love the dotted/stippled effect whip shading creates in tattoos! It would be great to tattoo more similar.

Also, I know it's only January 10th, but doesn't it already feel like January 73848th? I have no idea what adventures to plan for the new year. What plans do you all have?

We are currently looking into the realms of April for most bookings now. I still have smaller spaces left in late March here and there though!
