Sometimes the office looks like a chair and desk... sometimes it looks different. Our Care Manager Josh is out in the community today, and has been all week infact! Could be a coffee shop or cafe or even the pub (don't tell the boss) Josh doesn't mind where is going as long as it involves the community. He can even visit you at home if you prefer. This morning Our Care Manager Josh was a speaker at the Dementia Oxfordshire Workshop and Peer Support Session at The Ampleforth Pub in Headington.

Josh talked through navigating the health and social care landscape and supporting someone who may be reluctant to accept help. What stood out was how much reassurance people get from clear, practical information and attendees left feeling much more informed.

Age UK Oxfordshire supports older adults with information and advice, social groups, activities like walking sessions and coffee mornings, digital support and community connections.

A huge thanks to Gina, one of our wonderful CarePro's, for heading out in the local community on-foot with a load of our posters. We hope it's going to be a great event alongside Dementia Oxfordshire!
