**Advanced Notice of Building works, 17th November 2025**

We have had a report from a patient who received a call from a mobile number ending *1208 saying their GP required information to update their medical records. The call didn't feel right to them so they contacted us and there was no record of any of our staff calling them nor did we recognise the mobile number. Sadly this means this was probably a scam call designed to steal their information. If any of our staff do call you, they should introduce themselves by name and if they ask you for any information they should be able to explain why they need it. Our staff will never ask you for any financial information and if you ever feel uncertain about whether the call is genuine, you can always say you're going to end the call and call the surgery on 01984 623471 to check it was definitely us.

The surgery will be closed today, Tuesday 21st October from 1:00pm-6:30pm for staff training and development.

Please bear this in mind when collecting your prescriptions.
During our practice closures we are only able to take emergency calls. To make an emergency call to the practice during a closure, call on the normal practice number and listen to the emergency option.

If you have a life-threatening condition, please call 999. NHS 111 can also always be contacted for immediate advice and guidance.

The surgery will be open as usual the next working day.

Not had your flu jab yet? We have appointments available for booking Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week 🦠📅

All adults 65 years and over are eligible and those aged 18-64 years in clinical risk groups (carers and those with conditions such as: COPD, heart disease, kidney disease, chronic liver disease, chronic neurological disease, type 1 diabetes, some type 2 diabetics, those immunocompromised, splenic disorders, BMI of 40 or over.) We also still have nasal flus available for children aged 2-3 years. Call Reception on 01984 623471 to book your appointment.

Dear Patients and local community,

We have made some changes to our surgery parking arrangements after discussion and support from our landlord.

You will see that the lower section of the car park is now designated for staff parking only. This is as a result of a number of damaged staff vehicles over the last few months. Some have been resolved on site, some needing a police report and CCTV footage. We now have polled signage that states "Staff Parking only" and shortly it will be painted on the ground as you enter that zone. This also means staff are able to block one another in without causing disruption for patients.

We are also improving the lighting in the car park to improve patient and staff safety as we enter the darker nights and winter months.

There will be 13 designated patient bays, 4 of which are dedicated to disabled parking. Signage is also planned to go up around this area to state that they are for "patient parking only". This is to try and improve access for our patients as we know our surgery car park can be busy.

With this in mind, we kindly ask that you to please refrain from parking at the surgery and walking up to town and to also refrain from parking in the staff only zone. You will be asked to move your car.
