Today's client was in a lot of pain from stiff and sore traps and deep rhomboids (major), mainly along her thoracic spine. We did lots of slow, deep petrissage to loosen the tight muscles and then some good tapotement to flush the area with healthy blood, hence the bright erythema.

He was struggling with tight traps and rhomboids so we worked on loosening those to ease his pain.
Lots of healthy erythema evident showing good blood flow to the area.
